Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1464

After dinner, Damian and the others beat Norah to the punch in cleaning up the table, allowing her to rest on the sidelines.

Luisa saw all this and didn’t show any jealousy on the surface but started working even harder.

While Zachary was cleaning the kitchen, Luisa walked in and leaned on him, saying, "Zachary, I feel a bit dizzy."

Zachary immediately became concerned, "Why are you suddenly dizzy, did you drink too much?"

"Yeah, I drank alcohol for the first time, and you didn't even take care of me. Look at Mr. Flemmings, he took such great care of Norah," Luisa complained to Zachary about being neglected.

"I thought you wanted to drink," Zachary chuckled, "Mr. Flemmings has always been like this with Norah, treating her like his own younger sister."

He glanced at the woman leaning on him and suddenly asked, "Luisa, what do you think of Mr. Flemmings?"

Luisa was taken aback. She had always thought Zachary was a bit of a brute, but to her surprise, he was quite sensitive.

She quickly lifted her head and asked with a frown, "What do you mean? You think I like Mr. Flemmings?"

Zachary immediately shook his head, "No, that's not what I meant."

Tears welled up in Luisa’s eyes as she said indignantly, "I cooked so much food, hoping Mr. Flemmings and your brothers would be nicer to you, and that you all can enjoy a fun time, but you think this of me!”

“No, I was just asking!” Seeing that Luisa was upset, Zachary immediately felt at a loss, "I swear, I didn't mean it that way!"

Luisa remained silent, giving him the cold shoulder.

Zachary chuckled, "I know you were just looking out for me, I was just a bit jealous because I care about you!"

Luisa snorted, "I got drunk for you, and you didn't even say a word of concern. You also misunderstood me; I won't be nice to you anymore!"

“Don’t be like that, you're my wife, if I don’t care about you, who will I care about?” Zachary coaxed.

Luisa's eyes gleamed with a flirty light. She held Zachary's hand and whispered, "I have a headache, can you take me upstairs to rest for a while?”

“Sure!” Zachary's palms started to sweat, and his voice stuttered due to nervousness. He had just misunderstood Luisa, so he was extra careful with her.
