Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 196

Jonathan looked up, a bit taken aback, "What?"

Estelle walked down and said softly, "They're helping Mrs. Macy find a pair of earrings. These earrings mean a lot to Mrs. Macy. If they find them, they'll gain Schilder's trust and gratitude, which could help Baldrick sign the deal."

From Millard's words, Estelle felt her guess was correct. Baldrick indeed wanted to shake off Jonathan and collaborate with Schilder alone. Otherwise, he wouldn't have secretly sent people to find the earrings without telling Jonathan.

Their partnership was doomed to fail once one party has a hidden agenda!

What he didn't know was that yesterday afternoon, after Winnie had left, Mrs. Macy also talked to her about the earrings.

Jonathan quickly understood and said with a calm smile, "So that's what's going on."

Millard asked, "Ms. Macclain, do you know where the earrings are?"

"Yeah, I know!" Estelle's eyes were clear and bright, "And Mrs. Macy asked me to help her find them as well."

The earrings were with her grandfather. She was brought back to the Jarvis family when she was five. At that time, she had mild autism and didn't trust anyone around her. She hid in a corner every day, not talking to anyone.

Her grandpa and brother tried to cheer her up by letting her play with the collectibles stored in the warehouses. She saw the earrings in a wooden box.

Millard asked, "Where are the earrings? Shall we go now?"

Estelle thought for a moment and said, "I can go find the earrings, but I have a request."

"Hmm?" Jonathan looked up.
