He Filled My Life novel Chapter 8

Agnes leaned against Adam's chest and carefully observed his facial expression.

There was a hint of indifference and coldness on his handsome face, as usual, as if Thalia Cloude's fate had nothing to do with him.

She raised her eyebrows in delight and glanced around. Her gaze fell on the divorce paper on her desk.

"Adam, my mother told me that you and my sister are getting a divorce. Is it true?"

Adam pressed his lips together with an emotionless look on his face. "Agnes, are you happy about it?"

"I'm happy. Of course I'm happy. Adam, do you know that I've dreamed that you'll divorce my sister, so that I can become your lawful wife."

Agnes was overjoyed. But she suddenly realized that she seemed overexcited, so she quickly lowered her voice and said, "However, if the divorce brings pain to my sister, then I would rather you don't get a divorce. Adam, is it really non-negotiable?"

Was there still a chance for him to change his mind?

Adam also asked himself that question.

From the moment he got married three years ago, he had been hoping to get a divorce.

However, when the moment he hoped for really arrived, he became conflicted.

As it appeared, he didn't really feel relieved...

All of a sudden, he recalled the sight of Thalia lying on the ground earlier on.

She had been coughing, and there seemed to be a hint of redness on her lips. She was coughing up blood. Was she sick?

Agnes stared at Adam and noticed that he was a little absent-minded. What was he thinking about? Was he thinking about that b*tch, Thalia?

She secretly clenched her fists. She looked away and her gaze suddenly fell on the computer screen on the desk.

When she saw the image on the screen, her eyes slowly widened.

Why did Adam start designing a wedding dress all of a sudden?

She suddenly remembered that a long time ago, Thalia seemed to have mentioned a wedding dress to her...

So, this b*tch, Thalia Cloude, used the divorce as a bargaining chip to make Adam design a wedding dress for her?

As she thought, the look in her eyes became cold. She pretended to be envious and said, "Adam, I am so jealous of my sister. You are so kind to her. You're even designing a wedding dress for her. But, didn't you make me a promise all those years ago? You said you'll design a wedding dress for me and me only."

A wedding dress.
