He Filled My Life novel Chapter 5

Adam Matthew's facial expression instantly darkened and became grim and murderous.

"Thalia Cloude!"

His voice was as cold as icicles, and the air around him became oppressively chilling.

"What did you do to Agnes? Why did she try to take her own life?"

Adam's words were as sharp as swords. They pierced into Thalia's fragile heart without mercy.

Her lips upturned as she looked at the man in front of her with a bitter smile. "If I say it has nothing to do with me, will you believe me?"

Adam gave her a dark look and quickly walked toward the door.

"Adam!" Thalia called out to him and blocked his path. "Do you really believe that Agnes Cloude will commit suicide? It was perhaps just an act!"

Adam replied without looking back, "Do you think she is as sly and wicked as you?"

Thalia froze. She seemed startled.

Sly and wicked...

Was it how he thought of her, his wife, for the past three years?

Adam did not want to waste time dealing with her. He took a step forward and was about to leave. But Thalia refused to give up on her last chance.

She gritted her teeth and held onto his arm stubbornly. "Adam, don't go..."

She saw that he was only a few steps away from the dining table. All she could say was, "Adam, no matter what happens, can you at least finish the noodles before you go?"

It was so close. Adam almost tasted the noodles she made.

Once he ate the noodles, he would recall the memories that he had lost...

However—

"Crash!"

There was a loud noise. Adam picked up the bowl full of noodles and threw it onto the floor.

"Thalia Cloude, you're such a wicked woman!" Adam glared at her and shoved her onto the floor. "Agnes is your younger sister, and she has committed suicide. She is dying. How could you be so indifferent to her suffering?"

After he said that furiously, he slammed the door and left.

Thalia slumped to the ground weakly. The porcelain shards from the bowl pierced her palm, but she seemed numb to the pain. She stared at the man who rushed out of the house.

Suddenly, blood gushed up her throat and she couldn't help but vomit onto the floor. The blood turned the carpet red.

Adam left her for Agnes, again...

Thalia thought, what was I trying to do just now?

She actually expected Adam to believe her and doubt Agnes... It was very silly of her to have high hopes of winning him back.

Thalia sat in the living room for the whole night. As time passed, the sky gradually brightened and sunlight shone into the house.
