Heartstrings on Fire novel Chapter 503

Mr. K was totally flabbergasted.

The prodigy who could beat him was mute, of all things.

While he was still reeling, Nate had already fired up the car.

Jared approached and pulled out a business card for Nate, "Please pass this on to Summer's mother, tell her to hit me up when she's free. I know some experts in the field who might be able to help out with Summer's narcolepsy."

Nate didn't even acknowledge Jared, just accepted the card and rolled up the window.

The car roared to life and left the scene.

Mr. K gritted his teeth, "That guy is rude. From the look of him, he must be a homebody with a social phobia. I barely touched him and he flips out like that? It's not like he's a woman."

Jared glanced at him, "And you still want him to be your teacher?"

Once Nocturne got in the car, he turned and asked, "Why didn't my mom come pick me up?"

Nate replied, "She's not feeling well."

Nate did speak.

But she only spoke with family, outside she didn't utter a word to anyone else.

She had severe social anxiety, she didn't go out more than 20 times a year.

Ever since she started living with Agnes, Agnes had been trying to get Nate to get out more.

Old Nate used to tremble the moment she left her room, she couldn't live like a normal person.

But now, even though she still didn't like socializing, was afraid of light, and couldn't speak outside, at least she could walk like a normal person.

Nate took Nocturne to Vineyard Vista Estate in the suburbs.

This was one of Albert's properties here.

Everyone had been gathering here these days.
