Chapter 37 Let Me Drive You Home
Alicia only realized that what they said about celebrating together was just eating at the restaurant downstairs.
Doctors were really busy, so they usually didn't go too far for lunch. Sometimes they got too busy and couldn't even eat anything.
She originally wanted to grab the lunch box from Edmond's hand and not give it to him, but she gave up after hearing Alan's words.
The other doctors went to have a meal, and Edmond opened the lunch box bought by Alicia and began to eat.
She sat opposite him with an unnatural expression.
"Let go of my leg."
Edmond remained indifferent, picked up the tableware, took a bite of the food, and then regained his usual casual expression.
Alicia said again, "Let me go."
"I'm fraid of you running away."
"I'm in a hurry."
"Wait until I finish eating."
If someone were to look under the table at this moment, they would definitely find their legs hooked to each other.
They kept twisting their legs, which seemed very weird.
On the surface, Edmond ate politely and elegantly, but his legs under the table were not very secure, and he repeatedly rubbed his knees against Alicia.
Alicia was mad and counterattacked. But Edmond seemed inspired and began to rub against her dress, attempting to lift it upwards.
He was going too far!
Alicia wanted to start cursing, but Edmond's colleagues came over with lunch boxes and sat down.
She hurriedly sat upright.
Alan was totally a fool and sat next to Alicia to talk to her incessantly.
"Ms. Casey, do you also live in the Arnoford City? Do you have a boyfriend? What are your usual interests and hobbies?"
Edmond was eating and suddenly looked up at Alicia when hearing this question.
Alicia knew he was looking at her, so she deliberately said with a smile, "I usually enjoy going to bars to play."
Alan exclaimed, "Then there must be a lot of men pursuing you."
"Maybe."
"You have a good relationship with Doctor Agos, right? Do you often meet each other?"
"Not that good. We don't usually see each other very often."
After confirming that Alicia and Edmond were really related, Lori no longer regarded her as a rival in love, so she slowly started chatting with her.
Edmond's colleagues also began to chat with Alicia.
Only Edmond did not speak to her more than five times.
