Chapter 186 Angry Boss and Serious Consequences
"Is this question important? If I say yes, can you let me go now?"
Cecelia took the opportunity to ask back, but in reality, she had only been with one man in her life – him.
Without blinking, Remington stared at her for so long that his intense eyes were almost wet.
His heart ached so much that he could barely breathe.
Even if he didn't want to believe it, Cecelia was now living a comfortable and rich life. He couldn't believe that she didn't have a strong backer.
Did she really fall in love with someone else?
Was that man younger and richer than him?
Who was that man?
Only God knew how much effort Remington had to put in to drive away the almost collapsing feeling he had.
After taking a deep breath, he said, "I don't care who you've been with, but from now on, you belong to me! I'm your first man and the father of your first child. So, you have to be with me!"
This was the biggest concession he could make. He didn't mind her past, nor did he mind her having a child with another man. He just hoped she would come back to him.
"What makes you think you can demand that I have to be with you?"
Cecelia had never considered marriage in her life plan.
Hearing her answer, Remington couldn't describe how angry he was. Looking at her cold and emotionless face, he couldn't bear to hit or even scold her.
In the end, he could only hit the steering wheel heavily, restart the engine, and drive out.
Remington was so angry that his face darkened. It seemed that he was about to lose his temper, and the atmosphere in the car was extremely tense.
For the rest of the journey, neither of them spoke or communicated.
The Hummer raced at high speed on the highway.
He was really angry!
He was too furious!
The journey was about 300 kilometers long, and Remington stopped at a service area midway.
He got out of the car and left alone. About ten minutes later, he returned with a bottle of mineral water and handed it to her.
Cecelia didn't refuse and took it, but Remington took it back.
She frowned slightly, not understanding what he meant, but saw him unscrew the cap for her.
In fact, she wasn't so weak that she needed help to open a bottle cap.
She was now strong enough to split one's head!
Remington handed her the bottle again without saying a word, but his expression was still gloomy because his anger hadn't subsided.
Cecelia took a sip of water.
That was all their interaction. Remington continued to drive, and after more than three hours, they arrived at Cloud City.
Cecelia finally found out that Figuette Shop was located in Cloud City!
Cloud City, on the coast of the mainland, was a tourist city with both mountains and the sea. They arrived just in time for a typhoon.
The sky was overcast, and a storm was coming.
"Cloud City is raining, and it seems like there's a typhoon!" Cecelia looked at the rain outside and said.
"Yeah."
"Why didn't you tell me the weather was bad in advance?"
Remington's tone was sharp. "Even if I told you, what could you do? Can you make the typhoon go back to the sea?"
Cecelia was speechless.
His temper was really bad!
She was unable to communicate with him!
Cecelia saw a car suddenly coming in the wrong direction through the rain ahead and urgently warned, "Watch out!"
Remington also noticed it and turned the steering wheel in time, narrowly avoiding a car that had skidded.
