Everyone looked at Cecelia. Gordon's family members had regarded her as a jinx. As soon as she married into the Nelson family, she turned the Nelson family upside down. Maria and Lydia were punished because of her, and they were still bedridden!

Gabriella sighed heavily and told her eldest son, "Sam, you go to the Quinsey Residence and try your best to smooth the thing over. If the thing gets out of control, neither side gains!"

Samuel replied, "I see, mom. I'll go to the Quinsey Residence later."

Remington finally figured out the reason why Cecelia beat Mrs. Quinsey. "She did that for my son."

"Yes, Miss Linsey beat Mrs. Quinsey because she heard Mrs. Quinsey and her son humiliate Young Master Andres."

A strange feeling surged in Remington's heart. He didn't know why this strange woman would protect his son, but what she did really moved him.

"Where is she now?"

"Miss Linsey went out."

"It's late now. It's not safe for her to go out alone. Why don't you follow her?" Remington asked.
