Chapter 83 Max Had No Mercy on His Own Father
Seeing that Cecelia was about to leave, Ophelia stepped forward to stop her, "Wait! Don't go!"
"What? What else do you want?"
Ophelia said angrily, "You made Sean suffer so much. You have to pay for it!"
"You mean compensation? Did I hear you right? If you have to compensate for a murder with the life of the murderer, you all have to remember how Martin was killed. How many lives do you have to pay for his death?"
Cecelia's words strangled Ophelia, who had no way to respond.
As long as Ophelia thought about the fact that Cecelia hadn't been burned to death five years ago, while Martin Dylon, the housekeeper of the Linsey family, had been burned to death instead, she wasn't at all sure whether Cecelia would tell the police that.
And as far as Cecelia was concerned, she would have let the police and the law punish the real killers. Only now, she wouldn't let all her enemies be wiped out, because she wanted to torture those people, severely.
Let them all wait and see!
She would let them all go to hell one by one!
Grand Club.
Accompanied by Camelia, Winnie Jackbone came here to find Rupert.
Rupert was in the President's office on the top floor of the Grande Club. When he heard that his eldest sister was here, he asked someone to invite her into his office.
"Sis, what brings you here?"
Rupert, a charming looking man, asked.
"Rupert! I need to ask you something. Do you know Cecelia Linsey?" asked Winnie.
"Yes, why?"
Hearing the answer, Winnie ran up to him and said somberly, "How could you get involved with a woman like that?
"Rupert, listen to me. Break off your relationship with her right now!"
"If our parents knew you were screwing a married woman, they would be furious!"
Rupert stared at his sister for a few seconds and frowned, "She and I aren't in the relationship you think we are."
"Don't lie to me! If you had nothing to do with her, why did you give her access to Super VIP Services?"
"Are you hiding it for her? Do you know what kind of woman she is?"
"Not only does she like to hook up with men, she has a lot of sugar daddies."
"Even Senator Quinsey is having an affair with her."
"You have to stay away from a woman like her!"
Then Winnie huffed and complained, "By the way, I met her today at Prosperous Central Plaza. She was so arrogant that she got Jarvis Williams to blacklist me and kick me out of the mall."
"Rupert, you are my only brother. You must stand by me! You have to help me get justice!"
Rupert had a rough guess as to what had made his sister so angry. He wouldn't blindly believe what she told him.
"Sis, I don't care what happened between you two. I just want to remind you that she's Remington's wife now. You don't want to mess with her!"
"So you're saying you won't help me?"
Winnie felt that she was being so nice to Rupert for nothing. Her only brother was actually not helping her.
Rupert didn't answer, and then Winnie said indignantly, "Fine. Forget it! It's not over between me and her anyway!"
"Oh, come on, Sis. It's not a big deal."
For Remington's sake, Rupert wouldn't make things difficult for Cecelia.
"You can live with it, but I can't! Not only did she hook up with your brother-in-law, but she rode roughshod over me. I can't swallow that!"
Having said that, Winnie turned and left. As she reached the office door, she suddenly remembered something and added, "By the way, our parents asked me to remind you not to forget the blind date tomorrow!"
At the mention of this, Rupert felt like he had one head and two heads.
He was such a handsome, tall, imposing man! Why did he have to go on a blind date?
This was intolerable!
Outside the Prosperous Central Plaza...
Cecelia walked Ariella to the car. Only then did Ariella realize, "Cece, don't tell me you were the one who got Sean's ass f*cked last night! You're like a hero, aren't you? I admire you so much!"
"That tactic was merciful enough! Scum like him deserves to die!"
When Cecelia said her harsh words, she looked at them with a touch of cold arrogance and recklessness, as if she had the power to control the life of all beings.
