Deluna Hansen.
He pulls away and for the first time, he feeds me one of his smiles, "Missed me already, Luna?"
I frown at the familiar pride lacing in his voice and I move back, "Well, I didn't. You walked out after depriving me of my right to get back to my family. I mean who the hell does that?!" I snap, being careful to use the word 'family' instead of 'pack'.
He chuckles and says, "No other man than the man standing right before you, of course! Oh Luna..." But hearing his name called from the other room by either his old man or Mary gets him distracted and he abandons his sentence just to go meet his caller. I watch him disappear through the kitchen's door and turn around when Summer won't stop clearing her throat noisily. When I turn my attention to her, she wears that naughty smirk and leans closer as if to say something, "C'è qualcosa tra voi ragazzi, Zia?"
Damn, what the hell made her think that way. We kissed, we kissed. Damn, I really did let loose and kiss him before a tween.
"Nothing much." I drop her a boring reply before swerving around and ascending the stairs. I enter the room I had stayed all night in and drop myself on the bed. Starting at the blank ceilings, I realize just how lonely I am. Pardon, I've been like forever lonely but this feels super lonely, and especially with Zia not here. I definitely miss her troubles and the constant sound of her boots clicking against my office's tiles whenever she comes in. Well, that doesn't mean any good news. It only means I was beginning to get attached to my beta which shouldn't be so. I'm Alpha and I should remain alpha_ strong, with no emotional feelings or attachment except for my mate. Even, it doesn't make sense having any strong emotion for my human mate. I still do hate the fact that I'm being mated to a human, a fucking human!
"Aunty, uncle asked me to call you down for lunch already!" That tiny voice shouts from outside, pulling me out of me thoughts. Lunch? Aye,I deserve some of that. After all, a piece of burger and good drink wasn't able to fill up for the meal I skipped last night. I send a loud reply across the room before standing on my feet and walking to the door.
Most of lunch turns almost boring with Belvedere not taking his eyes off me and his old man, Elio saying almost nothing. Only the little blonde keeps up entertained with her jokes but you can bet they aren't so entertaining as to keep me from wondering what's up with the two men. Immediately I finish my meal, I drop the cutleries and don't bother to have water before climbing off the chair and going out. I need space, no, I need to get out of here. At least, that is what my wolf need right now. Or maybe, I should say that is what I need: a space away from my mate. I hate the fact that my wolf tries to take control of me every moment I'm with him, and I even hate the fact that he has to be physically great. So damn hot!
"You aren't running away, are you?" I hear that same husky voice behind me, just when I reach the front door but I don't turn. "And you're not going to stop me, are you? You can't." I state, turning around to face him.
That familiar naughty smirk I've grown to hate over the day plays on his lips as he steps forward, almost closing the distance between us. He pushes me against the door and cages me to it, "Why don't you think of the fun we can have together, and as your mate? Why don't you just bring yourself down to see the necessary? Why don't you gimme that chance to enjoy being mated to you? Why do you have to hate me all because you think I'm weak and not worthy?" His hot breathe fans my neck as he taunts me with his closeness. Right now, I'm weak and even willing. But it doesn't change the fact that I hate the moment, more than everything. But even as I try to fight my wolf and push this man before me away, the more my knees turn weak and my wolf takes control, leaving me torn betwixt and between. And like a prey, he brushes his nose against my chin, letting goosebumps rise there. Just as his mouth reaches the corner of my lips, about to kiss me, his phone rings, distracting us and he pulls away. He takes it out and throws a coup d'oeil at its screen before looking back at me, "Tell Elio I left already, but I'll be back before dusk to pick you. We'll be going for a party." He informs and I watch him whisk away, leaving my wolf disappointed and annoyed. Seriously?! Who the hell does that?! Turn a girl on and disappear the next minute?!
And did I just indirectly admit I was winded up by his little seduction?! Screw me then!
I wear a red neckless mermaids silhouette dress and a matching ankle strap heels. Actually, I love how hot it looks on me_the dress. It has a front open slit, front openings in the waistline, glittering appliques that makes it look even more unique and the frills is just at the lower back. My hair is brushed down to reach my upper back which is naked. Well, you can say I'm partly dressed to kill and that's only for one reason: to tease my mate. Maybe he was right, I don't have to hate him because I think he's weak. I will only hate him after confirming that. I walk across the room and open the door. When I step out, the first person I see is Summer who grins at my dress and gives me a sweet complement.
"Thanks, sweetheart." I say, sounding rather sweetly and she nods. I take a turn to my left, walk down the hall and descend the stairs. Luckily for me, I don't find Elio or Mary in the room. I exit the house through the front door and find him leaning against a red convertible. I see his eyes gleam the moment he sights me but then, that shocked expression follows. What?! He never thought I would dress so hot, huh. I smirk and start to sashay, but in a seductive way. He wears a red shirt partly tucked in ripped jeans, and sneakers. He looks rather relaxed than dressed for the party, and it's starting to make me do a rethink. Maybe I'm over dressed. But there's no way I'm going back in that house to do a change. When I get to him, I gingerly place my palms on his chest and tip on my toes to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"I missed you while you were gone but I'm ready for the party. Let's go, darling." I urge him and move back but he rather holds this stupefied look. He looks shocked, to even utter a word. What?! He's probably trying to guess when I started being sweet to him. Well, this is Alpha teasing him. And me pleasing my wolf for the moment being.
(Is there something between you guys, aunty?)
