"What were you saying, alpha?" His voice is mocking, of my relented self and I hate it that I'm unable to control my feelings with him. When he brings his face even more closer, I dock mine to the back and can't be more glad when he releases me.
" Speak up, Luna. I have something to attend to." Wow, he even knows my name! So damn perfect.
" I want to go back to New York." No, that sounds stupid, just like I'm really a subject of his. After thinking of a better rephrase, I open my mouth and talk, "Take me back to New York."
That wasn't a better rephrase but at least, the tone was better and it should do for it. I never made a request, that was a command.
He sighs and moves back. "Too bad, I won't be listening to your command. There's a reason I brought you here to Italy and if we aren't going to find out that reason, then none of us is getting out of this place either." With that, he turns away and disappears into another door in the room. Really?! So fuck him. I glance around the room to admire its fillings. Well, I must say, he has a very nice taste. The alluring king-sized bed starts to send its relentless invitation to me and I find myself striding to it. Do werewolves ever get tired or feel the need to sleep? Definitely, not! Or I should say hardly, but me being an alpha, then it's a no. I just need something comforting right now to get my brain cleared. Now, I'm trying to get somethings together and straight.
My human mate knows a lot about me before even meeting me. He told me I'm wrong when I told him I deserve a good explanation for this, and when I said I never said a word to him and also when I called him a shoo in. What does that mean? Then he further told me he had his reasons for bringing me here and if he doesn't succeed, then I'm going nowhere. He almost kissed me, too. But yet, that nigga is getting married. All of that makes no sense. It sounds like rubbish. Well, it is_ rubbish!
For the rest of the night, my mate doesn't return to the room and I can't be more glad, I have my peace away from him. I stay awake all night, staring at the ceiling. I'm too sick to sleep, sick of the stupid dramas with my mate and I need to clear my brain. When the sun starts to set, I stand up, away from the comfort of the bed and try to find the bathroom.
After having a good bath, I get back into my former clothes and walk out of the room. I climb down the stairs as my stomach growls in hunger and I feel the need to eat something.
"Aunty, I was just about bringing you hot tea for the morning." I hear that familiarly tiny voice and glance across the room to see the pretty blonde wearing a sunshine smile, and holding a cup of hot tea. Well, too good for me.
