Mated to the cruel twin Alphas novel Chapter 5

“Why did you say that Scarlett would never like us?”

Ariadne gazed at the two Alphas standing in front of her, Alpha Bert walked towards her with arms akimbo, a friend on his face. The air stilled as a wave of tension enveloped it. The two of them now centered her. The main reason she had spoken was because of the proof she had. She could remember vividly the events of the previous night.

She had to eavesdrop on the conversation her father had with Mr. Willoughby, the father to the twin. Her father had asked concerning the mate bond the twins had to Scarlett and the twin's father told him Scarlett was never going to be the Luna. He had assured her father that the twins and Scarlett wouldn't be mates, but she wasn't sure of the specific reasons.

“Why did you say that Scarlett would never like us?” They're questions came again. Ariadne now began to regret asking, she had made the twins to be furious, and now she had no other choice than to come up with an answer to their question.

“I said that because Scarlett doesn't love you two, anybody could tell she hates the two of you, so why try to impress her?” She blurted out.

“We are already aware of the fact that she hates us, we already know her feelings that's we will spend a month making her fall in love with us.” Alpha Asher prodded and the two of them had walked away, leaving her speechless.

Alpha Bert and Alpha Asher, the twin Alphas, strode down the hallway of their pack house. Their steps were firm and precise, their cold demeanor making their presence known. As they walked, they caught sight of Ariadne, the daughter of the previous beta to their father, walking towards them. The twins knew that Ariadne was jealous of their newfound mate, Scarlett, the maid they used to hate but now loved due to the mate bond.

Ariadne's eyes were filled with venom as she approached them. “I see that you two are still clinging onto that worthless maid,” she spat, “You really believe that mate bond is real? Give up now before it completely decimates what little dignity you have left.”

The twin Alphas glared at her with steely eyes, before retorting, “You dare question our bond, Ariadne? It's stronger than any bond you could ever imagine.”

With that, they turned and walked away from Ariadne, heading towards their room. They needed to come up with a plan to make Scarlett fall in love with them.

Their room was magnificent, with glossy hardwood flooring and a high ceiling that towered above them. The room was accented with warm lighting that cast a soft glow around the room, and silk curtains that were drawn over the windows. Their bed was a king-size four-poster, adorned with soft silken sheets that smelled of lavender.

As they walked into the room, their wolf was immediately drawn to Scarlett's scent. She was waiting for them, and as they approached her, they couldn't help but be struck by her beauty. Her green eyes sparkled like emeralds, and her long brown hair cascaded down in waves.

“Scarlett,” Alpha Bert began, “We have somewhere to go.”

But Scarlett wasn't having any of it. She hated the twins for how they had treated her in the past, and she had already fallen for Alpha Fletcher, the alpha of the Night Beam pack. She had even tried to run away to his pack, but the twins had caught her.

“Why would I go anywhere with you two?” Scarlett scoffed.

But the twins were determined to win her over, and before they knew it, they had convinced her to go to a dinner party with them.

Scarlett stood on the twin alphas’ room, gazing at the ball gown they had picked out for the party tonight. It was a beautiful shade of blue, with intricate beading along the bodice and a flowing skirt. She couldn't wait to wear it and dance the night away.

But her excitement was tinged with anxiety. She knew that tonight was the night she would have to make a choice - stay with the twin Alphas, Alpha Bert and Alpha Asher, or abscond to the night beam back to meet Alpha Fletcher.

Scarlett hadn't planned on falling in love with Alpha Fletcher. It had happened gradually, during their secret meetings in the woods behind the pack house. They had talked for hours, sharing stories about their lives and their dreams. Scarlett had never felt so alive, so seen, as she had with Fletcher.

But now, she knew she had to make a choice. And it wasn't going to be an easy one.

Steeling herself, Scarlett slipped into her gown and zipped up the zipper as she stared at herself in the nearby mirror, she looked elegant and drop dead gorgeous.

The hall was decorated with luxurious drapes and sparkling chandeliers, and there was already a lively crowd gathered. The party was held at the Nightfall pack, which was conveniently located near the Night Beam pack. As they arrived, the twins introduced her publicly as their mate, causing Scarlett to blush at all the attention she was getting from the other alphas in attendance. Scarlett scanned the room witt hope as a thought stroke it's way into her mind.

Could Alpha Fletcher also be at the event?

He couldn't have come to the party. With hope, she squinted her eyes searching for Alpha Fletcher. She spotted him on the other side of the room, talking with some of the other alphas. Her heart leapt at the sight of him, but she quickly composed herself and made her way over.

As she approached, Alpha Bert and Alpha Asher intercepted her. “Scarlett,” Alpha Bert said, his voice smooth as silk. “You look stunning tonight. Will you dance with me?”

Scarlett hesitated for a moment, then shook her head. “I'm sorry, Alpha Bert. I would prefer to watch for now.”
