My Bully Buddy novel Chapter 6

Allison's POV 

I walked out of the office and started walking toward Andrew's house.

He must not want me, or he does not want a mate from another herd, or did I not satisfy his aspirations for the companion he wanted? 

I felt my head hurt from thinking too much, I went home and headed to the kitchen

"How was your first day, Alison?" I was asked by Adele who was making dinner

“So cool that I was going to jail” I answered her to stop her work and look at me 

"What??? what happened???"

"It's just a simple misunderstanding that Andrew will tell you about later. Let me help you."

" OK "

" what should I do ??" I said as I walked towards her

"How do you feel about setting the table?" She told me nervously

"I told you Megan right? I'm bad at cooking" I told her 

“Yes, but I don’t mean to make you sad.” I admitted with regret

"I know it's not a great thing, I really can't cook."

"So you're going to set the table?"

"Of course I went to the closet and started pulling out the plates and spoons."

“If there is a problem, you must have met the alpha,” she told me

" Yes "

"He was a stranger, right?? He is known to not like having women close to him."

" how ?" I asked her, feeling curious

"The alpha does not like to be approached by women. He has not been seen with any woman by some say he wants to remain faithful to his companion, and some say he just hates them. " reason behind it? 

"He looks like someone with many secrets," I told her

"Yes, it is. He seems mysterious and frightening to some, but he is the best alpha and he rules his flock and makes them extremely comfortable, and also most of our flocks work with him on his projects in the human city" she answered me

I went to the table and started to count it. I heard the door close and I saw Andrew wink at me before he came forward and hugged his girlfriend. I heard my phone ring to grab him, it's my brother

“Andrew, don’t tell me you said what happened to my brother today .” He parted from his embrace and looked at me

"I didn't tell him anything. He called to ask about your condition. I didn't tell him anything but that you almost went to prison because of helping someone who was being bullied," he replied.

"Andrew, I hate you" I yelled at him to open the line

“I know you love me,” Andrew told me before I heard my brother screaming on the phone

"Allison, damn it, didn't I tell you not to make trouble?" 

"I didn't make any trouble, I just walked around in peace."

"Alison, it's no time to joke around."

"Brother, I'm sorry, but I don't regret what I did, and if I encounter the same thing in the future, I will do the same, because you taught me to defend the weak." I said using my card. I waited a little while to hear him let out a sigh of relief.

"Not a single scratch"
