Speaking of this, Melvin Spencer, with a red wine glass in his hand, suddenly paused and had such a grim face.

Born into one of the top four rich and powerful families in Hardgrad, Melvin had certainly heard about the Lucero family, but unfortunately, he didn't know them better than outsiders.

The young master of the Lucero family, Kenneth Lucero, was very low-key and mysterious. He had never appeared in public. Melvin once sent someone to poke around, but he only found out that  Kenneth Lucero came to Hardgrad a few years ago and he was actually from...Faykarta.

Faykarta was the most prosperous financial metropolis. Anyone in the streets was likely to be a second-generation rich person, because the ordinarily wealthy couldn't gain access to the financial center.

Certainly, the super-rich in Faykarta were the real business tycoons who controlled the lifeline of Manford's economy.

Melvin once heard that the surname of the most influential family in Faykarta's business community was also Lucero.

It was really a coincidence, wasn't it?

In fact, the aristocratic family in Hardgrad was the Gallaghers. Meanwhile, the young master of the Gallagher family, Jared Gallagher, was a close friend of Kenneth Lucero since childhood. 

Leia Snyder had sensed the change of Melvin's mood. She continued, "Melvin, don't you remember that Arabella Snyder was with a man when she was in the countryside, and they spent the night in the cave?  Arabella was at such a young age, then she dared to sleep with a stranger."

Melvin drank up the red wine in the glass, put out his hand and shoved Leia onto the bed.

Melvin was very rude and Leia's head bumped into the bedside cabinet. It hurt so much that she almost cried. 

At this moment, Melvin stooped down and stared at Leia angrily.

Leia was frightened by Melvin's look. Every time she said that  Arabella was dating other men, he would lose control like this and become very scary.

However, Leia's feelings for Melvin were real. She put her arms around his neck and said, "Melvin, I love you. You are my only one and I even gave you my virginity."

Melvin's face darkened. That was right, Arabella had betrayed him. She was just a fickle woman. She didn't deserve his love at all.
