How was Melody supposed to continue to stay in the Ink Veil Sect in the future?
"I'm speaking, so shut up!" Nash glanced at the foolish woman disdainfully. He was trying to help her here, so why was she acting like a saint? The sect had already broken free from secular laws.
If someone died here, no one would intervene. Whether in the cultivation world or the secular world, tolerating injustice would only invite further oppression. Melody only got scratched up today, but what about tomorrow? What if she was killed?
Gwendolyn noticed the bloodstains on Melody's nose and neck. She looked at Erwin coldly and demanded, "Erwin, did you injure Melody?"
Erwin, clutching his chest, replied weakly, "We were just sparring!"
"Sparring?" Gwendolyn questioned sharply. "You’re at the late stage of the Profound Reality Realm and have mastery of the Starfall Sword Technique. Yet, you sparred with a junior who's only at the early stage of the Profound Reality Realm. Is this the behavior of a senior of the sect?”
Gwendolyn's expression turned extremely unpleasant after she said that.
"Hasn't the sect master told you that you're not allowed to spar with Melody for another year? Do you no longer acknowledge the sect master’s authority?” Her stern rebuke silenced all the disciples. Not a single one dared to make a sound.
Erwin also kept his head down, unable to speak. Jadie was trembling even more.
"Anyone who had the gall to bully Melody step forward!" Gwendolyn's icy gaze fixed on Jadie and the disciples beside her.
In the first few days after Melody arrived at the sect, Jadie took advantage of the time Gwendolyn and her grandmother were in seclusion. Seeing it as an opportunity, she mocked and ridiculed Melody.
Sure enough, Jadie took two steps forward at Gwendolyn's demand.
Seeing this, Nash's figure flashed. He appeared in front of Jadie in an instant and slapped her across the face. Although Jadie used her true energy to defend herself, Nash's slap shattered her defense, sending her flying more than ten meters away.
