"You're welcome," Terence replied. "I just introduced the Ward Group to the person in charge. It was their own hard work and diligence that earned the president's appreciation."
Natalie said to Terence, "Giving all those resources to the Ward Group while you just run a restaurant… isn't that a waste of your talents?"
"Actually, I think running a restaurant is great. It's a business with a human touch. And it gives me more time to spend with all of you. I think it's wonderful."
Natalie smiled. So this was what it felt like to be the center of someone's world.

The Ward Estate
Knowing Natalie and Terence were coming, Elaine and Richard Ward were waiting at the front door to greet them long before they arrived.
"Mom, Dad, you should wait inside. They'll come straight in when they get here," Marcus said.
"No, I have to wait here for Natalie," Elaine insisted.
"That's right," Richard added. "Our daughter is coming home. I'm too excited to sit still. Let's just wait for them here."
When Natalie's car pulled up, she saw her parents standing at the door. The wind was quite strong, and it was messing up their hair. She quickly got out of the car. "Why are you waiting out here? You should have stayed inside. The wind is strong today."
Richard said, "As soon as your mother heard you were coming, she couldn't sit still. If I didn't wait out here with her, people might think we'd had a fight. I have to keep her company."
Elaine chided him, "What are you talking about? At your age, you're still so unserious."
Then Elaine turned to Natalie. "Natalie, you must be hungry. Let's go inside. I made a lot of food today. I hope you like it."
