Terence and Darren left the Ward family's home together. Darren asked, "What exactly happened last night?"
Terence found this odd.
"Why are you suddenly so concerned about what happened last night? Aren't you happy about this?"
Darren said, "I don't think Angela is that kind of person. Were you the one who was two-timing Natalie?"
"Don't worry, I'm not like you. I’m not the kind of man who plays both sides."
Darren was annoyed by the jab.
"I'm trying to have a serious conversation, not pick a fight."
"A serious conversation? Coming from you, that’s almost poetic in its absurdity."
Terence started to walk away, but Darren grabbed his arm.
"Natalie won't forgive you right now. Not unless we find out the truth about that night together."
"The truth about that night?" Terence looked at Darren. After all, everyone was saying Angela seduced him, and he couldn't control himself and slept with her. Yet here was Darren, grabbing him and talking about finding the truth together. What was he playing at?
"Alright, what's your angle?"
"My angle is that I don't want to see Natalie get hurt. I think you're sincere about her, and she was so happy and excited to marry you. I don't want anyone to ruin her happiness."
Terence was perplexed. Was he hearing this right? Was Darren actually trying to help him?
"Darren, what kind of game are you playing now?"
"I'm not playing any games. I just want to figure out what really happened that night. I just want Natalie to be happy."
