Crowned by the Man They Feared (Amelia and Jeremy) novel Chapter 603

Chapter 603 Threats

Back then, Amelia didn’t really get it. She thought she was just imagining things, or maybe Floyd was just shy and kept to himself.

But now, thinking back to the message from that unknown number and what it said…

Sabrina was probably someone else.

Didn’t that message basically mean the Sabrina standing here was an imposter?

If that was true, then where was the real Sabrina?

Did the Jordans know about this?

Did Cora know?

“Can’t you see Floyd won’t even look you in the eye? He’s clearly scared of you,” Amelia said irritably after collecting her thoughts.

Sabrina froze for a second. She felt a wave of guilt inside, but she was a pro at hiding it.

She didn’t let any of it show on her face.

What she didn’t know was that Amelia had already seen through her.

“Floyd wouldn’t be scared of me. He’s my real brother. Ms. Amelia, please don’t try to turn us against each other. Thank you.”

Sabrina sounded polite, but she was clearly trying to make Amelia look like the bad guy.

“Amelia, what’s wrong with you? How could you try to ruin Sabrina and Floyd’s relationship?”

Brielle was furious. She kept yelling, “They’ve always been close! Floyd listens to Sabrina more than anyone!”

At Jordan Estate, whenever Floyd threw a tantrum or refused to eat or leave his room, Sabrina would go in and calm him down.

Every time she talked to him, Floyd would obediently come out of his room and agree to eat.

So everyone believed Floyd listened to her the most.

“Oh, really? Did you ever see it yourself?” Amelia asked coldly.

“Huh?” Brielle didn’t understand why she asked that, but she answered honestly, “They were in his room. Sabrina said if too many people went in, Floyd would get overwhelmed, so it was always just the two of them in there.”

“I see. Are there cameras in his room?” she asked again.

Brielle was even more confused. She answered directly, “Why would there be a camera in his room? Kids deserve privacy, too!”

She thought Amelia was being ridiculous. Everyone needs their own space, right?

Even if Floyd was still a kid, spying on him with cameras was wrong.

“And how many times have I told you not to wear colored contacts anymore? You’re so young.

That stuff is bad for your eyes.”

Sabrina’s voice filled with reproach and concern.

His eyes were two different colors, which made him stand out. Because of that, other kids and even adults treated him like he was a freak.

That made him more insecure, more afraid to interact with others or even speak up.

That was exactly what Sabrina wanted.

That was why she kept telling the Jordan elders that colored contacts were bad for kids’ eyes and shouldn’t be worn until he was older.

But by then, the emotional damage would already be done. Even if his eye color looked normal again, it wouldn’t change anything.

“Hmph! Are you joking, Ms. Sabrina? Floyd’s eye color is natural. He’s not wearing colored contacts!”

She knew exactly what Sabrina was trying to do.

Maybe she wouldn’t have picked up on it before, but ever since she received that text, she had her suspicions about Sabrina.

“W-what?” This time, Sabrina was the one caught off guard, not understanding what Amelia meant.
