Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 885

Nancy Grover thought she had delivered a brilliant warning by using Daisy Duke.

But upon returning to her suburban villa, she realized her entire base had been annihilated in her absence.

Every security camera was shattered. The network servers had been wiped clean.

The guards and staff were hogtied with heavy ropes, stacked on top of each other like a mountain of garbage.

Groans of pain echoed through the grand halls.

The lavish architecture had been smashed beyond recognition.

Her most trusted enforcer, Zeke, was missing.

The final three Heartseal Pills keeping her alive were crushed into worthless dust.

On the full-length mirror in her bedroom, a message was scrawled in red lipstick: An eye for an eye!

It was a blatant, mocking challenge.

Before Nancy could even process her blinding rage...

Two guards hauled a half-dead Zeke into the room.

The sheer brutality of Zeke's injuries sent a shockwave through Nancy.

Half of his face had been flayed by a whip.

His hand tendons were severed, rendering him permanently crippled.

His body was a canvas of vicious torture.

"What happened?" Nancy demanded.

Zeke was in too much agony to speak.

Nancy shot a questioning glare at the guards.

Mars reported grimly:

"We found him dumped by the front gates. If we hadn't spotted him, he would have frozen to death tonight."

Seeing Zeke's condition, Nancy knew she wouldn't get any verbal answers.

She didn't need them. She could guess what happened.

Daisy Duke was rescued, the villa was destroyed, and the only person capable of this level of carnage was Maeve Vance.

A few miles down the road, the driver noticed the anomaly.

"Miss, we're being tailed."

Nancy let out a dark, composed laugh.

"Of course we are. Why do you think they returned Zeke to us?"

"To us, he's a discarded pawn. To Maeve, he's a tracking beacon."

"It seems my little welcome gift involving Daisy Duke truly enraged her."

Ignoring the headlights in the rearview mirror, Nancy commanded smoothly:

"If she's that desperate to catch me, let's play a game with her."

While Nancy's convoy engaged in a high-speed pursuit on the icy highway, Andres and Maeve were walking side by side under a black umbrella in the falling snow.

Murray trailed slowly behind them in the car.

Behind Murray was a long line of Andres's security detail.

"I saw Nancy today. The real Nancy, not the body double."
