Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 832

Of course, they hadn't told their families that they were dating yet.

Bria asked, "When are you planning to break the news to your sister about us?"

Kaleb looked at her. "Do you have something in mind?"

If Bria wanted to tell her family, she would've already announced it from the rooftops. The fact that she hadn't said anything yet meant she had something else in mind.

"Honestly, I think we're good as we are. How about we just keep it on the down-low for now? If we tell the older folks, they're definitely going to butt in. Our situation's already complicated enough, with Ayla and my brother—both impossible to deal with. I haven't even figured out how to explain it to them yet."

Bria said, "I don't want them in my business either. I've always been the kind of person who does whatever I want. Holding off on telling them is better for both of us. This way we can just focus on each other. What do you think?"

Bria was worried Kaleb might overthink it and bottle things up, and she didn't want him reading into anything, so she added, "I'm not saying we can't ever tell them—just that it's way too early. And I'm definitely not trying to keep you a secret. I just want a quiet, peaceful life for once. You know how chaotic mine used to be. All the drama, all the headaches—I'm sick of it. I don't want anyone butting in right now, and that includes our relationship."

Kaleb only overthought things when they truly mattered. He didn't get caught up in the small stuff.

For him, the most important thing was being with Bria.

Not handing in some kind of report card to the family.

Kaleb said, "You don't have to worry about me. I don't want anyone in our business either."

"Really? You're not just saying that, right? Because if you turn around later and start whining about us not being public, I'm going to give you an earful," Bria pressed.

Kaleb said calmly, "I'm not lying. Who I date is my own business and has nothing to do with anyone else. I don't owe anyone an explanation. Whether we tell them or not doesn't matter to me. If you ever decide you want to, I'll go along with it."

Bria felt better hearing that. "We're on the exact same page. This works out perfectly. No disagreements, no fighting about it."

Bria started letting her imagination run wild. "Down the road when we go hang out at your sister's place, we'll act like we don't even know each other, then sneak off and steal a kiss whenever they're not looking. Oh my God, that's so thrilling—just thinking about it gets me going!"

Kaleb was speechless.

Bria really did have a wild imagination. There was definitely something extra thrilling about dating in secret behind the family's back, and as for kissing... they could do that right now.

Kaleb said, "Lean over here a little closer."

Bria caught his meaning instantly and leaned in toward him, and Kaleb planted a kiss on her cheek.

It made Bria feel all warm and fuzzy. "That's it?"
