Wiona added coldly. "Your status doesn't carry enough weight."
Her words were incredibly harsh. Scott's face darkened instantly.
Just how much did this Wiona know? Did she know where his second uncle was? She clearly knew her father had been missing for years, yet she demanded he come in person, or that his grandmother come to see her.
Did she really think she was so important that the Tucker family could not function without her? His grandmother was not someone she could casually manipulate.
Beside them, Grandma Julia was equally astonished by these words. But she quickly realized that Ryan must have actually revealed news about Wiona's father the other day. Still, that shouldn't have been enough.
It wasn't enough to prompt the specific things Wiona had just said.
So, exactly how much did she know?
Regardless of how much she knew, the anxiety gripping Grandma Julia's heart dissipated the moment she heard Wiona say she only recognized the Blue family. A profound warmth welled up inside her instead.
This was her granddaughter. So incredibly thoughtful.
But she also felt a deep sorrow for Wiona. She was clearly curious about her biological father, yet in all the days since her return, she had refrained from coming to ask her grandparents about him. She was obviously afraid of bringing up painful memories and making them feel cast aside.
Grandma Julia deeply felt her granddaughter's care and kindness.
She squeezed Wiona's hand firmly in return. Without looking at Scott, she said in a low voice, "Tell him to leave!"
"I don't want to speak another word to anyone from the Tucker family."
Wiona looked at her grandmother's red rimmed eyes and nodded sympathetically. "Okay, Grandma."
Conrad, who had stood silently by Wiona's side the entire time, finally spoke. His voice was deep, and his cold gaze fell directly onto Scott. "Mr. Tucker, Wiona's stance is already very clear."
"If there is nothing else, please leave."
"Her grandmother needs to rest."
Grandma Julia let out a long, heavy sigh. She looked at Wiona with deep affection, knowing she could not hide the truth any longer.
What was the point of hiding it anyway? Rather than letting Wiona investigate on her own and hear the truth from someone else's mouth, it would be far better to tell her directly. It would save her the trouble and prevent her from gathering incorrect information.
Grandma Julia spoke slowly. "The Tucker family definitely came to steal my Wiona away."
"Now that a fully grown granddaughter has suddenly appeared, of course Kendra would want her."
"She has been domineering and aggressive her entire life."
"Back then, to avoid losing face to our Blue family, she caused Luna to suffer so much."
As she spoke, Grandma Julia's eyes grew red again. She reached out to gently stroke Wiona's head, her voice filled with pity. "Wiona, do you really want to know the relationship between your biological father and the Tucker family?"
"I can tell you everything."
