Bella quickly explained what Lillian had said to the reporters that morning and how she let the media get clear shots of the severance document.
It was easy to figure out that this was the Mercer brothers' counterattack. Surprisingly, they hadn't targeted Lillian directly, but had made this move instead.
Just as Bella finished speaking, Sabrina heard the door open. “He's back. I have to go.”

Martin entered to find Sabrina the picture of a broken woman, her shoulders trembling as she dabbed at her tear-streaked face.

As he spoke, Martin carefully lifted Sabrina off the bed.
Luckily, no food had spilled on her; she was still clean.
But as he went to set her down on the sofa, Sabrina wrapped her arms around his neck and began to cry even more intensely.
“Honey, what is it?”
Martin's voice became incredibly gentle.
Sabrina sobbed. “It's… Brandon… He… he wants me to livestream apologies for a month.
