Bella planned to use their dinner that evening to discuss how they would arrange their new life together.
Naturally, her goal was to officially move into the grand Blake family estate.
Sebastian primarily split his time between the main estate and the luxury villa he had previously shared with Lillian.
Therefore, she wanted to either move into the villa Lillian once occupied, or straight into the main estate.
Lillian never knew how to enjoy luxury and rarely stayed at the main house.
But Bella appreciated the finer things. She knew the perks of living at the estate—the impeccable service of the staff, the gourmet meals prepared by world-class chefs.
She had no desire to live in a random apartment. The estate was the ultimate symbol of status.
Although she had heard that Sebastian's parents explicitly forbade her from entering their home, she figured that since Sebastian had defied them to marry her, he could surely force them to let her move in.
Aside from their living arrangements, it was also time to formally bring up the topic of the wedding settlement.
She had suppressed her desires until now, terrified of ruining the marriage before the ink was dry on the license.
But now that the paperwork was signed and the union was legally binding, she needed to secure the financial benefits she deserved.
On this front, Bella was not going to hold back.
Sebastian had actually been quite generous. For their celebratory dinner, he had booked an entire upscale restaurant exclusively for them, treating it as a reward for her submissive behavior at the office today.
After pulling out her chair and waiting for her to sit, he took the initiative to speak.
"Today is a momentous day for us, and you handled yourself perfectly at the office.
I honestly expected that, given your close friendship with Hannah Quinn, you might try to intervene on her behalf.
But you proved you understand the bigger picture, and that pleases me.
Booking this place tonight is my way of showing my appreciation."
Bella held her breath. She hadn't expected Sebastian to be so blunt about it.
She thought they would just leave it as an unspoken understanding.
Thank god she hadn't acted impulsively and thrown a tantrum after hearing those gossiping women in the bathroom.
