Chapter 469
Isaiah POV
We had about an hour before we needed to leave for Ironclaw. Kaia wanted to talk to Sinclair. Mainly because she wanted to see Sinclair’s true feelings about the pack and becoming a warrior.
Seeing how I would never tell my mate no, unless she was endangering herself, I went with her. Besides, I would like to know as well. Is it something that could be overcome, or is her heart really not in it? I want to understand to help. It would make Kaia happy for Sinclair to be in the know about the blood pact, and I will do anything to make her happy.
“Sinclair!” Kaia said cheerfully.
“Beta,” Sinclair said with a silly sass, “What can I do for you?”
“You can join the warriors and be in the know. Either you are ranked or a warrior,” Kaia said.
“I’m good, Kaia. Really. I am happy being in the pack, and I’m even happier being part of the tech team. Plus, in my downtime, I’m trying to find my parents,” Sinclair said with complete serenity. She doesn’t
seem bothered about not being in the ceremony at all.
Kaia narrowed her eyes, “I know you have a practical outlook on life, Sinclair. But it would be really great if you could join the warriors. Maybe we could find or create a special role for you.”
“That’s favoritism, Kaia. The warriors will be upset if you treat me differently from how they treat me. I’ll pass. I promise, if I change my mind, you will be the first to know,” Sinclair said with finality.
Kaia stuck her tongue out like a child, and Sinclair made another childish face, and they both started
laughing.
“Ugh! Fine. But I’d better be the first one you tell if you change your mind!” Kaia insisted.
Sinclair chuckled, “Deal.”
After a while of conversation, Aiden and Thalia came down, and they said we needed to head out. We went to the SUVs parked in front of the pack house and loaded up together.
Aiden and Thalia are smiling happily. They are very much in love. I laughed at them.
“Don’t you two ever get sick of smiling at each other and looking goofy?”
Aiden flipped me off and laughed, “I’m very happy tonight. Nothing is going to ruin my mood.”
“Except Alpha Paul,” I said.
“Not even then,” Aiden said.
“What has you in a good mood then, brother? Is Thalia pregnant again?” I teased. I know my brother wants all his pups now. He went so long without a mate, and now that he has her, he is so fucking in love, he is stupid over her.

His grin widens so that I think I can see his back molars. I looked at Thalia, and she is blushing. Then it dawns on me. “No fucking way! You are, aren’t you?”
They nodded, and I reached over to give them a hug. Kaia follows behind me, and we are all talking happily about it.
“Moon Goddess told Thalia we are having a son next. I wonder if it will be one or three,” Aiden said, and Thalia’s face went pale. 1
I laughed at her expression, and then she spoke up. “I hope it’s only one this time. We have a lot with Rosario and Teagan. Those two are keeping me on my toes.”
Aiden holds Thalia closer and kisses her, “I will hire as many nannies as we need, Mojito.”
I’m happy for them, and I am also envious. I want to start a family with Kaia. I hope we will talk about it tonight. When I turned to look at Kaia, she stared at me intently.
‘Are you having baby fever?’ She asked in the mind link.
‘Let’s talk after we get this dinner over with, but the short answer is yes,’ I said.
Her eyes widened slightly, and then a small smile crept on her face. I hope that is a good sign, because I want pups with her. I want a daughter with her big, round, blue eyes.
We finally arrived at Ironclaw, and when we got to the gate, the guard was looking over his manifest of today’s arrivals.
“Sorry, Alpha Aiden. Alpha Paul canceled tonight’s dinner. He said he is already having dinner with Councilman Edgar.”
Aiden’s eyes darkened. “Alpha Paul’s father extended the invitation to us.”
“I’m sorry you made the trip.”
Kaia sat back and looked at me. “This guy is a dick. Why not call his dad?”
Aiden pulled out his phone and, when it answered, began explaining everything. He handed the phone to the guard, and I could hear the screaming through the phone receiver. Once he was done screaming, the guard opened the gate, and we came in.
Once we reached the front of the pack house, one of the omegas came to greet us. “Alpha Paul and his father are in the dining room with Councilman Edgar. Let me show you the way.”
The omega was pleasant and polite and walked us away from the dining hall and into a private dining
room.
“Please go inside. They are expecting you.” The omega said, opening the door.
Aiden enters with Thalia, and then I enter with Kaia. There is a short hallway before entering the main dining room, and once we get there, Kaia gasps and freezes in place.

“What’s wrong, Kaia?” I asked.
