Aiden POV

My office phone is ringing right as I’m about ready to slip my hand under Thalia’s shirt and feel her incredible skin. Of course, the phone would cock block me. I groaned, and Thalia giggled. I narrowed my eyes at her, and she bit her bottom lip, trying to stop her amusement.

“One sec,’ I said as I reached for the phone.

“Alpha Aiden.”

“Aiden, it’s Luca. I need help,” he said frantically.

Judging by his tone, it’s serious. “What happened?”

“Mia. She’s been taken. We had another rogue attack. I made sure she was in the safe room, but the rogues had tech to bust through the doors, and they took my mate! I only just found out. The attack happened almost thirty minutes ago. I’m en route trying to find them.”

“Did they drive off or are they on foot, Luca?” I asked.

“I think they drove off. I don’t know where they are headed, but I know they went in the direction we take for Blackstone. I’m hoping we can cut them off,” Luca said.

“Hermana!” Thalia screamed. “Tech?! The only ones that could have that tech are Heath. The rogues are working with Heath.”

She pulled out her phone, “Abuelo, Heath is working with rogues. The rogues took Mia.”

Tears were forming in her eyes, and I was holding. Suddenly, she got very angry. “Rain hell down on them. Make them talk. If they don’t, I’ll be there. I need to get to Rodrigo.”

“Luca, we are getting my sister back,” she said into the receiver.

I finished gathering intel from Luca, then called Renz and Lacy in. I also mind linked Mom and Dad. I am going with Thalia, because I already know there is no way to get her to stay back and let me handle it, and honestly, I don’t blame her.

“Rodrigo…Mia has been kidnapped. Heath is likely involved. Rogues took her,” Thalia said.

I heard Rodrigo snarl on the phone. “I’m coming now.”

He hung up, and then Renz, Lacy, Mom, and Dad entered the office. “What’s wrong, son?” Dad asked.

“Mia has been taken, Dad. Renz, you and Lacy have the pack. I’m going with Thalia to find Mia.”

“Rodrigo is on his way,” Thalia said, and her face was etched with worry and anger.

I grabbed her and hugged her. “We are going to find your sister and kill the bastards that took her, Mojito.”

“Where do we begin to search?” Mom asked.

“Luca said they were heading in the direction he and Mia take to come to Blackstone. He is on their trail, but perhaps we can intercept them,” I said.
