Queena was instantly furious and flustered. “What the hell? You’re framing me!”
In the next second, a swarm of doctors and security guards holding restraint poles rushed in and immediately apprehended Queena.
The attending physician hurried to Horace’s side. “Mr. Spencer, are you alright? Were you injured?”
Horace was a VVIP patient at the hospital, with connections from various influential parties, so the hospital staff took his well-being very seriously.
Horace pressed his lips together, his already pale face turning even whiter, making him look particularly pitiful.
“That woman burst in here, screaming like a madwoman, demanding we hand someone over or she would destroy the hospital. We tried to explain that we didn’t know who she was talking about, but she wouldn’t listen. She started smashing things, saying the hospital couldn’t control her.”
The security guards were both anxious and angry. As Queena opened her mouth to argue, I clutched my chest and added fearfully, “She even said she would destroy all the medical equipment and wouldn’t pay for any of it! You have to do something, she’s a complete thug!”
Now the doctor was angry too. “How audacious! Get her out of here! Time to teach this lawless woman a lesson!”
Queena was so enraged her face turned crimson. “You’re all lying! You’re the ones who broke everything! How dare you frame me! I’m not done with you!”
I immediately looked at Horace. “Horace, I think she’s out for revenge. What if we’ve run into a psycho?”
Horace turned to the attending physician. “What kind of security do you have here? How did this madwoman get into the premium ward? Are you trying to set me up with enemies because you think I’m an easy target with a broken leg?”
Queena was about to explode. “Who the hell are you calling—? Let go of me! I’m going to kill these two backstabbing…”
Before she could finish, a security guard shoved a dinner roll into her mouth. “Shut it, you! I was on my lunch break. You made me waste a good roll!”
The attending physician waved his hand dismissively, ordering them to drag the fuming, struggling Queena away. Then he turned to Horace with sincere apology.
“I’m very sorry, Mr. Spencer. This was our mistake. We will hand her over to the police and immediately increase security for your room to ensure this never happens again. Is that acceptable?”
Horace kept a straight face and nodded.
