My grandfather was genuinely looking out for me; I could feel it.
But I didn't hesitate. I knew that no matter which path you choose in life, there will be regrets. There's no right choice, only the commitment to make your choice the right one.
I trust Horace. He won't hurt me.

The next day.
My family met with Horace's parents. Julian had known Horace the longest and was aware of how well he treated me. He admired Horace's character, but when it came to the matter of marriage, he was more serious than I had expected.
He was the one who took the lead in negotiating the specific details of the marriage for me. The wedding invitations, guest lists, and everything else had to be perfect.
Mr. and Mrs. Spencer were also exceptionally serious, agreeing to every request the Lopez family made. The marriage was settled amicably.
We had lunch together. Aside from Leonard, who still hadn't returned home, the whole family was there. Grandpa was rather quiet, his face stern and imposing, making it hard for anyone to approach him.
After lunch.
Julian looked at me, then at Horace. "Zephyra was hard-won for the Lopez family. You'd better not fail her, or your legs will really be broken."
Horace and I exchanged a look. "Don't worry, Uncle Julian. I will love Zephyra with my life."
Julian said, "When do you plan to have the wedding?"
Horace looked at me. I replied, "We want to move abroad. We can have the wedding as soon as the dress is ready. I also need to start preparing for the move during this time."
Julian frowned slightly. "So soon?"
I smiled brightly. "Yes."
