A sharp pain shot through my lips as a forceful, domineering kiss overwhelmed me. I stumbled back, my back hitting the door behind me.
His kiss was filled with rage—fierce and霸道, less a kiss and more a raw attempt to force me into submission, or maybe just to touch me.
I fought back, my hands beating against him, but he was completely unmoved. His eyes were open, a pair of dark, crimson pools boring into me as if he wanted to devour me whole.
It hurt so much.
His kiss was rough and brutal, and my jaw felt like it was about to be crushed in his grip.
Rachel saw me struggling and, as the bodyguards caught up, she rushed forward to pull Steven away, her voice a mix of anger and panic. “Steven, are you crazy?! Let go of Zephyra!”
But she couldn't budge him. Steven didn’t work out obsessively, but years of boxing gave him a strength no ordinary person could match. Even with his injured hand, he could easily overpower her if he wanted to.
Rachel could only watch helplessly as Steven ravaged me. My head was buzzing, and a profound sense of shame washed over me, my heart pounding in panic.
It seemed Steven was truly furious.
He had always prized his reputation. The refined and elegant Mr. Lancaster never dropped his mask in public. No matter how angry or emotional he got, he would never make a scene.
His specialty was dealing with me behind closed doors.
But now, in public, even with Rachel trying to pull him away, his eyes held nothing but pure rage for me.
The bodyguards quickly pulled Rachel away. She started screaming curses.
“You bastard, Steven! Zephyra doesn’t like you, she doesn’t want to be with you! She did everything she could to divorce you and you— Mmph!”
Someone clamped a hand over Rachel’s mouth, and soon, the commotion in the stairwell died down.
The mall had escalators and elevators, so very few people ever came here.
Only when I was truly struggling for breath did Steven pull back slightly. He still looked down at me, his hand gripping my face.
