Chapter 319 Go Back to School
Nina was truly heartbroken.
“Nina cat candy!” she cried hard, her chubby little body haking with sobs.
The boys, seeing her cry so desperately, were flustered.
“Nina, no cry! Let’s go ride in the little car!”
“Let’s go fish! My dad has fish! We fish in the fish tank!”
“Nina, don’t be sad!”

No matter how the boys tried to comfort her, nothing worked. Felix, seeing that his candy had failed to win over the kids and instead made Nina wail, dropped his smile.
He was smart; he knew Nina’s status in both the Graham family and the Wilson family-the treasure of both households.
If he wanted the Wilson family to accept Mia again, the best way was to first win over Nina.
If he couldn’t win her over… well, if something happened to her, the Wilson family would be devastated. Especially Jane’s mental state wasn’t stable.
If she were upset, she might still need Mia’s company.
That way, Mia could smoothly return to the Wilson Villa
He had two paths. For now, Felix chose the first one.
It was safer.
The second path risked offending the Graham family, and no one in that family was easy to mess with.
Even Daniel, who seemed harmless, wasn’t exactly a saint at heart.
Daniel said, “Nina, don’t cry. What toy do you want? I will buy it for you, okay?”
“Want candy.” Right now, Nina’s whole world was candy.
She hadn’t had candy in so long, and she wanted it now.
Seeing he couldn’t manage her, Felix was out of ideas.
Soon, Amelia, having gotten the word, rushed over and picked Nina up.
She didn’t mind that Nina was dirty and held her close, kissing and soothing her.
After crying for so long without getting any candy and waking up early, Nina eventually cried herself to sleep in Amelia’s arms.
Seeing she was asleep, Amelia gently wiped her little face and carried her off to nap.
The Wilson family had prepared a room for Amelia, and they’d also set up a little bedroom for Nina, plus a playroom and a toy room.

The Wilson Villa had plenty of rooms and space, so adding new ones was easy.
After putting Nina to bed, Benjamin took off his jacket and lay down beside her.
Nina had become quite clingy after her recent illness. She needed someone with her to sleep through the
nap.
If left alone, she’d wake up crying after just a few minutes.
Since Benjamin hadn’t slept well the night before either staying with her let him catch up on sleep.
The two slept in the room while Amelia went back outside to socialize.
Today, Amelia was the star of the banquet.
As time passed, Nina, in the bedroom, snuggled her chubby little body into Benjamin’s arms.
Snuggled against him, her eyes closed, her little mouth started making soft smacking sounds.
She was dreaming of eating candy.
Maybe because she hadn’t gotten any candy before bed, she couldn’t even taste it in her dream.
After smacking her lips for a moment, she got frustrated.
“Candy…” Her eyes still shut, she began to cry, “Nina eat candy!”
Even in her dream, she was crying for candy. Benjamin, woken up by her, held her close, patting and soothing her until she calmed down.
Like that, they slept a while longer.
After about two hours, Nina woke up. She sat up, rubbing her eyes.
After rubbing, she gave Benjamin a little pat on the face
“Daddy.” The room felt unfamiliar. She asked blearily, “Where Mommy?”
Nina wanted Amelia.
Benjamin, woken by her little pat, frowned slightly but didn’t say much.
Nina had patted him a few times when she was sick, and he’d never ratted on her.
This time, he didn’t scold her either,
He just pulled the sitting Nina onto his lap and felt her back.
She had sweated a little in her sleep.
Benjamin skillfully changed her clothes, took her to the bathroom, washed her little hands, and then carried
her out.
