Miracle Cutie
Chapter 339 Daddy’s Here
“No car will dare hit you again. Daddy’s here.”
Benjamin’s broad chest gave Nina an overwhelming sense of safety.
She cried and cried, her wet little face pressed into her father’s neck, until she fell asleep.
She had cried so hard, exhausted herself into sleep.
Even after she fell asleep, Benjamin didn’t put her down
He held Nina in his arms, his gaze shifting to the bed where Nelson lay.
Nelson opened his eyes and looked at Nina.
Benjamin sat down and, with a solemn tone, expressed is gratitude to Nelson.

Amelia had told him that if Nelson hadn’t rolled with Nina, she would have been hit directly by that car.
Nina was so small-if she had been struck, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
Just thinking about it sent a chill down Benjamin’s spine
He couldn’t bear to imagine that outcome.
In the past, only Amelia had treated Nina as her entire life.
She once told him softly, in a quiet moment, “My life is ied to Nina’s. If something happened to her, I couldn’t survive either.”
After saying that, she had shyly looked up at him and whispered, “Benjamin… do you think I’m overreacting?”
Sometimes, she really did feel like one of those “overprotective moms” criticized online.
She couldn’t separate herself from Nina.
And she couldn’t change that.
At that time, Benjamin had only comforted her, never imagining what it would be like if he were the one to lose Nina.
Now, holding the child who had narrowly escaped disaster, Benjamin suddenly realized his own feelings mirrored Amelia’s.
“Mr. Graham, is Nina hurt?” Nelson asked from the bed, his expression calm.
Benjamin showed him the sleeping Nina.
“She’s fine. You protected her.
“You need to rest. Once you’re better, you can play together again.”
Benjamin rarely displayed such patience in coaxing someone else’s child.

Chapter 339 Daddy’s Here
Nelson, unaccustomed to warmth, remained silent.
He was used to being treated indifferently.
Whenever he encountered affection, he always felt awkward.

Today, what was supposed to be a happy day had turned chaotic. After Amelia composed herself, she went out to buy some food.
When she returned, she found Benjamin still comforting Nina.
Nina had begun crying again.
Facing the car that had nearly hit her, she was still frightened.
Benjamin held her patiently, coaxing her gently.
He turned on the TV in the hospital room; cartoons played on the screen.
Nina kept her eyes closed and continued to cry, ignoring the show.
Her little face was red from crying, and the sweat on her forehead had dampened her hair.
Benjamin wiped the sweat from her brow, then the tears from her cheeks.
Seeing her cry like this, Amelia quickly set down the food she was carrying, took Nina in her arms, and stepped outside.
“Nina, don’t cry. Mommy’s here. Look, Mommy’s here.
“I bought you so many treats.
“Do you want a cheese stick?”
Amelia coaxed Nina outside, hoping not to disturb Nelson.
Nelson, however, kept watching from the bed.
After a while, Amelia had successfully calmed Nina and carried her back inside.
She looked at Benjamin. “It’s okay now. She was just scared and startled.”
Amelia placed the now calm Nina on the bed next to Nelson.
She told Nina, “Nina, Nelson is hurt. Don’t touch him now. Let’s eat together.”
Nelson was staying in the best hospital room.
The bed was large, and Amelia had set up a small table on her side with the food she had bought-light and plain dishes.
Nelson, by now, was hungry.
A pillow had been placed under his waist. Just as he was about to start eating himself, Amelia stopped him.
“Nelson, I’ll feed you. Your arm is injured-you don’t need to strain yourself.”
