Chapter 368 Nina’s Red Pandas
Nina stared a few seconds longer, then answered honestly, “Not red panda.”
Of course, she knew red pandas didn’t look like that.
Nina was little, but she wasn’t silly.

She pointed at the two dogs and called them out right away.
“Fluffy. Puffy!”
Those were the names she’d given her two dogs-one Fluffy, one Puffy.
She tilted her head up at Daniel. “Un-coo Dan’el, buy red panda?”
Daniel sighed helplessly, “Okay, let me think of something.”
The dye job clearly hadn’t worked this time. He’d have to switch to a new dog and try again.
The dogs at Lucas’ house were a bit smaller and chubbier-maybe they’d look more like red pandas when dyed.
While Daniel was still plotting his next red panda attempt, Nina sniffled and suddenly turned pitiful again.
“Un-coo Dan’el… doctor hit. Hit foot. Nina hurt!”
She leaned forward, looking extra miserable as she tattled to Daniel.
Daniel took her into his arms, heart aching as he gently held her bandaged little foot and blew on it softly through the gauze.
He asked, “Nina’s so pitiful. Want something yummy to eat?”
Nina nodded right away. “Yes!”
Daniel took over looking after her. Nina refused to get down; whenever someone came near, she stuck out her chubby foot and declared it hurt.
Everyone in the house ended up holding her at some point.
After being spoiled at home, Nina wanted to go out again. She wanted to see Jane.
Amelia didn’t let her leave. Instead, she let her call Jane on the phone.
The moment the call connected, Nina’s first words were “Grandma, come see Nina?”
Nina stared at Jane on the screen with big hopeful eyes, hen lifted her little foot to show off.
“Nina foot hurt! Have shot. Many!”
After whining so pitifully, Jane couldn’t sit still. She set of immediately.
“I’m coming to see you now. Nina, just be good and wait for me.”
Nina couldn’t go out on her own, so she got the whole Wilson family to come over.

Chapter 368 Nina’s Red Pandas
Jane didn’t come empty-handed. Neither did Nathan, nor did Freya.
Nina ended up with a pile of new gifts-and got passed around for lots of hugs.
Barry didn’t come; he was still at school.
The adults gathered together and had a lively lunch.

After lunch, the Wilson family thought Nina needed a map, so they planned to leave and not disturb her
rest.
But before they could go, Nina rushed over and clung to Jane’s leg.
She wasn’t wearing shoes-just socks.
Fall weather was chilly; no one dared let her run around barefoot all the time.
“Grandma no go!” Nina stuck to Jane and refused to let her leave.
Amelia didn’t want her mom to leave either. She wanted more time with her, too.
Benjamin noticed their reluctance and spoke up to keep them. “There are plenty of rooms here. You can stay.”
The Graham Residence had lots of space, but Freya and Nathan were polite enough not to impose. Jane stayed behind.
Nap time was when Jane and Amelia helped get Nina to sleep.
The three of them slept in the same bed. Nina was perfectly behaved with Jane.
She didn’t fuss or make trouble at all.
Jane held Nina close, eyes full of love.
“Everyone says Nina is so naughty, but Nina is clearly very good.
“Baby, you were this good when you were little, too.”
The “baby” Jane was talking to wasn’t Nina-it was Amelin.
She smiled softly and told stories about Amelia as a chil
In her gentle, soothing voice, both Amelia and Nina dried off without realizing it.
After being cooped up at home all day, Nina was sent back to daycare the next day.
Nelson now had his dad to look after him, so Nina didn need to keep him company.
Nina fussed again when she was dropped off-she didn’ like going back after a few days off.
Once she adjusted over two days, Benjamin had the luggage packed and was ready to take Amelia and Nina
abroad.
Before they left, Amelia let out a deep sigh.
