Both the First Wife and the Second Wife were quite interested in Dylan's girl friend.
Seeing Dylan walk in holding her hand, everyone's eyes fixed on them.
"Father, Mother, elders, I've brought Elena to meet you all!" Dylan announced, stepping forward.
"Dylan, introduce us to Miss Elena properly," Xavier Sinclair said.
Dylan held Elena's hand and began the introductions.
"Elena, this is my father."
Out of politeness, Elena greeted him gracefully, "Hello, Mr. Sinclair."
"Good! You and Dylan look like a matching pair. I heard the Whelan family took good care of Dylan while he was disabled. Rest assured, the Sinclair family will remember your kindness!"
"Thank you, Mr. Sinclair."
Next, Dylan took Elena to meet the First Wife.
Madam Scarlett Sinclair looked frail, her face pale and lacking energy.
"This is the First Madam."
"Hello, Madam Scarlett."
Scarlett glanced at Elena and waved her hand gently. A servant brought over an antique wooden box.
"This is a vintage emerald bracelet from my personal collection. Since it's my first time meeting Dylan's wife, I'm gifting it to you. May you and Dylan... have a harmonious marriage and grow old together," Scarlett said softly.
She really didn't look well.
"Thank you, Madam Scarlett."
Just then, a woman's sharp, piercing voice cut through the air, grating on the ears.
"Oh my, Scarlett is truly generous, giving away her treasured collection. She must really like Dylan's wife! That bracelet has been passed down since the Victorian era. It's a family heirloom!"
Hearing how valuable it was, Elena hesitated.
"Madam Scarlett, perhaps you should take this back. It's too precious; I can't accept it."
