"You..." Isabella thought about it and held back.
She couldn't win an argument against Evelyn.
Regardless of the outcome, she was always an outsider, and no one would speak up for her.
Seeing Isabella stay silent, Evelyn added, "Good dogs don't block the path. Where is Dylan? I have business with him."
"What do you want with Dylan?"
"To settle a score, of course. Not something a nobody like you can ask about. Where is he?"
Isabella secretly clenched her fingers, nearly grinding her teeth. "He went out early this morning. He's not here."
Just then, a servant arrived.
"Miss Bennett, Master Dylan is back. He brought Miss Whelan with him."
Evelyn curled her lips, revealing a smug expression. "Perfect timing!"
Dylan arrived at the Sinclair estate with Elena.
Isabella immediately went up to them, looking at Dylan with teary eyes.
"Dylan, you're back?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, crying? Did someone bully you?" Elena asked with a smile, seeing Isabella acting like a damsel in distress.
Isabella ignored Elena and looked at Dylan with watery eyes.
"Miss Evelyn is here. Dylan, be careful. She said she wants to settle a score with you. I just defended you with a few words, and she lectured me."
"Alright, stop acting! Isabella, aren't you disgusted with yourself? I said a few words to you, and here you are playing the victim. What a total drama queen. Get out of the way; this has nothing to do with you!" Evelyn stepped forward and said.
Isabella gritted her teeth in hatred.
It hadn't been easy for her to survive in the Sinclair family all these years by being cautious.
In the past, Dylan couldn't stand seeing Evelyn and Damian bully her.
