"Theresa, I genuinely want what's best for you. You know, there are several girls in the office who like me! But I don't have eyes for them. I'm interested in you, do you understand?" Charles refused to give up.
"No, I don't." She really couldn't understand Charles's logic.
Just because he liked her, did she have to agree?
Charles stood there awkwardly.
Knock, knock!!
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
Theresa looked over; it was Logan.
Logan walked in wearing a security uniform.
"What is a damn security guard doing here?" Charles asked.
He had interrupted his private moment with Theresa.
"I'm the company security. I'm responsible for the company's safety. Is there something wrong with me patrolling? As for you, work is over, so go home. Don't loiter here!" Logan stepped forward and said.
Seeing Logan intervene, Charles lost his mood and turned to leave.
Before going, he looked at Theresa again. "Theresa, think carefully about what I just told you!"
After he left, Logan asked, "What did he say to you?"
"He wants to pursue me and wants me to say yes. What an idiot!" Theresa complained.
"I'll go out and beat him up right now!"
Theresa quickly grabbed Logan. "What are you doing! I didn't agree to him. If you beat him up now, it'll be a huge scene tomorrow."
"Fine, I won't beat him up then." Logan obediently came back.
Theresa smiled. She didn't expect Logan to be so cute!
"Come help me tape receipts! I have to finish before I can leave!"
"Okay!"
Logan pulled up a chair. Theresa briefly explained it to him.
"Tape it like this. These belong to one person, so paste them separately on one sheet..."
Logan didn't know anything about company matters, but he was very quick at taping receipts.
