"Why wouldn't I? Just wait right here. I'll have him come over right now. If he doesn't show up, you can do whatever you want with me. I'm your target anyway, right?"
One of the men sneered, thinking she was bluffing. "Alright, we'll give you a chance, lady. Stop talking big. Even we don't get to see Mr. Smith, and you think one phone call will bring him here?"
"Just wait and see. Let me send my friend away first; this has nothing to do with her."
"No way. What if she calls the cops? You're both staying right here!"
Elena didn't waste her breath. She pulled out her phone and called Tyler.
"Boss! Boss! I was just about to call you, and you beat me to it. We really have a telepathic connection!" Tyler sounded thrilled.
"Cut the crap. I'm sending you my location. Get over here right now."
When Elena gave an order, Tyler moved fast.
He arrived in a flash.
"Boss! Boss!" Tyler ran up and grabbed the hem of Elena's shirt, whining like a needy child.
"Knock it off, there are people watching. Your guys are causing trouble for me again."
The thugs burst out laughing.
"Hahaha! Lady, is this the guy you said was Mr. Smith? If you're gonna hire an actor, at least get someone who looks the part!"
"Yeah, he looks like a college kid. You expect us to believe he's Mr. Smith?"
"Do you even know who our Mr. Smith is? He's a ruthless killer!"
The moment the words left their mouths, Tyler's innocent smile vanished.
He turned to face the men, his eyes darkening with vicious intent.
He looked like a wild wolf, his gaze sharp and predatory.
Tyler cracked his neck, the sickening pop echoing in the sudden silence. The air around them seemed to freeze.
It sent a chilling wave of terror through the alley.
