Lilian smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'm not that foolish. I definitely won't let them find me, so just relax."
She was about to get out of the car when something occurred to her. "Didn't Jermaine say that Everly has male companions? Ask Jermaine for their contact information for me. I plan to pay them a visit."
Eric looked at Lilian and shook his head helplessly. "Fine, it seems you already have a plan, so I won't stop you. But you must prioritize your safety and not put yourself in danger. Call me if anything happens. I'll send the contact information for those men to you shortly."
Lilian nodded. "Alright, see you tonight." With that, she stepped out of the car, a baseball cap appearing in her hand which she pulled low over her head.
Meanwhile, in the other car.
Foster looked at the silent man beside him and asked in a low voice, "Was there something wrong with that car? Should I send someone to investigate? Just in case Cary sent them to tail you."
Sebastian stared coldly out the window, his handsome profile tinged with a hint of loneliness. "No need. That wasn't a vehicle from Cary’s estate. That car belongs to the Philips family."
"The Philips family?" Foster asked in surprise. "Are you referring to the Philips family from Merrick?"
Sebastian withdrew his gaze and said icily, "Yes. I just don't know who was inside."
Inside the study of the Cary estate.
Cary sat at his desk in formal attire, his expression grim as he hung up the phone. "Those old fogies... they're actually trying to bargain with me at a time like this."
Will, who was sitting nearby, asked, "Father, how did it go?"
Cary let out a cold laugh. "We had an agreement. Once Sebastian was eliminated, they would each receive ten percent of the Austin family’s assets. Now they're unhappy and want to increase it to fifteen percent. No wonder they’ve been playing vanishing acts these past two days. It turns out they just wanted to squeeze more out of me."
