She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 337

Loyce shook her head. "Let's keep things separate. This is a transaction, not a favor."

Only then did Emma manage to suppress her excitement, sign her name, and press her thumbprint onto the contract before handing it back to Loyce. "I received the school's grade report. Giselle did so well this time, and it's all thanks to you!"

That evening, Emma insisted Loyce stay for dinner. The three of them shared a pleasant meal, bringing a joyful day to a close.

With the monthly exams for the senior class over, the university entrance exams were just two months away.

For the past two days, the students and teachers of the Ace Class had been poring over the photocopies of Loyce's study notes. Most of the content was easy to understand, but when it came to the more advanced topics, the group of academic achievers—and their equally brilliant teachers—found themselves struggling.

Eventually, someone suggested that the school invite Loyce to serve as a temporary teacher to help them prepare.

Giselle's progress was plain to see. If the class could receive Loyce's guidance for the next month, they were certain every student would reach a new level.

"These phenomenal students all want Loyce to teach them," the physics teacher said, standing in Principal Clayton's office. "But we have no way of contacting her. Do you?"

Clayton replied, "Wasn't Hallie supposed to come and teach for a while?"

The physics teacher scoffed. "Please. She probably lost face after that incident with Loyce and backed out at the last minute. They say she's decided to apply for a position at the Royal Art Academy. Her application is already in, and she's confident she'll be hired soon."

Clayton frowned. "Isn't she a math teacher?"

The butler took the medicine but hesitated. Seeing her turn to leave, he couldn't help but call out, "But Mr. Shapiro hasn't eaten anything since he started feeling unwell last night."

Loyce paused and turned back, frowning. "He won't eat?"

The butler gave a wry smile. "To be honest, I feel like he's been in a foul mood these past few days, and it's probably affecting his appetite."

Loyce shrugged. "Then there's nothing I can do. That's a personal problem."

Was she supposed to prescribe him an appetite-enhancing pill? No such thing existed.
