Inside the entertainment room.
The bar's evening event had already kicked off. The prize for tonight's billiards competition was the final handcrafted piece by a renowned overseas artist: a nearly three-foot-tall bear figurine encrusted with thousands of Swarovski crystals. Being a discontinued, one-of-a-kind piece, it was valued at a cool million.
While a million wasn't a staggering amount for this crowd, the 'limited edition' label gave it immense collectible value.
The younger crowd was buzzing over the bear, and even Loyce had to admit it was a beautiful piece of art.
However, she wasn't great at pool. Most of her time had been spent mastering essential survival skills and business acumen.
"Do you like that bear, Loyce?" Morris asked gently. "You've been staring at it."
She nodded. "It's definitely a work of art, though we have plenty of art at home."
"If you like it, I'll win it for you," Morris said, setting down his drink with a warm smile. "It's been a while since I joined in on the younger crowd's games anyway."
Seeing that he genuinely wanted to play, Loyce smiled. "Then I'll leave it to you, Morris..."
"My grandmother specifically had me put this on the ship as a fun prize for everyone," Yorick interjected, appearing out of nowhere with a pool cue in hand. His burning gaze was fixed on Loyce, though his words were directed at Morris. "There are a lot of rich kids here tonight, and plenty of them are pool sharks. You might not be able to win that bear for her on your own."
Morris raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well, it wouldn't hurt to have some help. Let's team up, then."
As they chatted, Jasmine, Channing, and their entourage arrived and spotted the bear. A few of the wealthy heirs immediately swarmed Jasmine, trying to strike up a conversation.
