Chapter 361 Clash of Wills
“Want some?”
As soon as Isabelle spoke, he obediently opened his mouth.
She pursed her lips and scooped a spoonful, feeding it to him.
How could a man usually so formidable act this endearingly childish?

He didn’t eat any more after that. Instead, he lay back on the sofa with his head resting on her lap, his ear pressed gently against her abdomen as he drifted toward sleep.
Isabelle finished the rest of her dessert while idly tracing the line of his jaw with her fingers.
“Knock, knock, knock—”
Three firm raps sounded at the door.
Damfan frowned and let out a quiet sigh.
Disturbing someone this late was truly inconsiderate.
“I’ll see who it is,” Isabelle said, patting his head.
“You stay. I’ll go,” Damian replied, slowly sitting up.
He peered through the peephole, his brow tightening. His jaw clenched.
“Who is it?” Isabelle asked.
“Just an unwanted visitor.”
He muttered under his breath, then glanced down at his bare chest. A slight, deliberate smile touched his lips as he turned to Isabelle. “Wait for me in the bedroom.”
Isabelle pressed her lips together, not overthinking it. She picked up her laptop and returned to reviewing the day’s notes.
Damian opened the door, his gaze coolly falling on the man standing outside.
He ran a hand through his damp hair, half–closing his eyes as he regarded Collin, who stood holding a small paper bag dotted with raindrops.
Damian clicked his tongue softly.
“Mr. Dorfman, eleven o’clock… You’ve picked quite the hour,” Damian said, a thread of ice in his tone.
Collin’s brows drew together, his eyes drifting to the loosely tied robe Damian wore.
Faint, reddish marks were visible near his collarbone…
To be clear, Damian had pinched those marks into his own skin just before opening the door. Doing it himself stung more than if
another had left them.

Collin couldn’t help staring a moment longer.
He had to admit, Damian had the kind of physique any man might envy, and more than that…

Even if Isabelle had once been indifferent, she’d likely been thoroughly captivated. How could someone like her resist the calculated charm of a man like Damian? Otherwise, why would she be carrying his child?
He was also somewhat relieved that Damian seemed to treat her well–but Collin still wished he were the one standing in that doorway.
“Isabelle didn’t eat much at dinner. I was concerned she might be hungry, so I brought her something from the bakery,” Collin said, not shrinking from the confrontation. If he was going to act, he’d do it openly.
Damian gently closed the door behind him, dropping any pretense of civility.
“Mr. Dorfman, the next time you refer to my wife, you will use her proper name.”
Collin let out a short, humorless laugh. “I’ve called her Isabelle for years. How long have the two of you known each other? Thinking you can change that seems rather presumptuous, doesn’t it?”
“And what standing do you have to say so, Mr. Dorfman?” Damin
asked flatly.
Collin truly had no official place by her side. Sometimes, Isabell”

If it weren’t for Linda, their connection might have remained exactly that distant.
Just like this….
Even if Damian weren’t in the picture, this dynamic probably wouldn’t change.
His heart sank slightly. The hand holding the bag tightened, and he forced a thin smile. “Isabelle is pregnant now. I hope you won’t take advantage of her condition=”
Before he could finish, Damian’s fist connected with his mouth.
Collin was struck not only by the physical blow, but by the fierce, scorching glare that followed.
Those eyes held pure aggression and possessive fury!
Collin didn’t have time to react. The bag fell from his hand, the neatly boxed pastry tumbling out. Thick, sweet glaze seeped from the cracks, soaking into the hallway carpet.
Damian’s rough hand fisted in the front of Collin’s shirt, slamming him back against the wall with a heavy thud.
Collin grunted, his features twisting in pain.
