The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 804

Since Ella had already made her decision, everyone just nodded and let it be. “Alright.”

After leaving the hospital, Lilly and Victoria said goodbye. Lilly smiled and waved. “Ella, I’m going to take Victoria home first. Let’s hang out again soon.”

Ella nodded. “Sounds good.”

Victoria waved. “See you, Ella.”

Ella smiled back. “Bye, Victoria.”

On the way home, Lilly glanced at Victoria. “So, after everything you saw with Ella today, how are you feeling?”

Victoria thought about it for a second. “Ella’s love life seems really tough. Is romance always that complicated?” She had never dated anyone before, so her curiosity was genuine.

Lilly thought of her own ups and downs with Jace. Love could be sweet, but it could also be a mess. There were moments of joy and moments that made you want to cry. Still, she didn’t want to scare Victoria or make her dread falling in love.

She smiled and squeezed Victoria’s hand. “It’s different for everyone. I know you’ll meet someone special one day. They will really get you, and you’ll be happy together.”

Victoria just shrugged, not really interested. “I don’t know. I think I’m better off doing research. That feels way more my thing.”

Lilly couldn’t help but laugh. Victoria was the classic science girl, all about data and experiments, not feelings or romance.

Lilly grinned. “You’re all grown up now, Victoria. You should enjoy your life. Come on, I’m taking you out for some fun.”

Victoria looked skeptical. “Where are we going?”

Lilly just grinned, her eyes twinkling. “You’ll see.”

Suddenly there was a stir nearby. Someone whispered, “Look at the VIP section. Someone booked the whole thing. I heard it’s Lucas Matthis’ birthday. All the rich kids are here to party with him.”

Another voice jumped in. “It’s not just rich kids. There are a ton of bunny girls too. Influencers, models, all of them showed up for Lucas.”

Lilly hadn’t expected to run into Lucas tonight. In the past three years, the Matthis family had exploded in influence. Wherever Lucas went, people followed.

She glanced over at the VIP section. It was totally blocked off, guarded by a wall of men in black suits. No one else could get close.

She spotted Lucas right away. He wasn’t just the charming guy from campus anymore. Now he looked every bit a billionaire, dressed in a black shirt and pants, sitting front and center on a big sofa, surrounded by all the city’s most famous heirs.

Soon, the bunny girls appeared. They were dressed in skimpy outfits with fluffy ears, all of them young and gorgeous, eyes sparkling as they watched Lucas, not hiding their excitement at all.
