Jill just smiled, her lips curving up. “Let’s see who loves Jason more. Whoever loves him enough to give him up, that’s the person who loses.”

As soon as Lilly was gone, someone stepped out from the shadows. It was Lucas. He had come to Tibet with Jill, and the two of them had become allies.

Lucas stared in the direction Lilly had disappeared. “Jill, do you think she’ll actually break up with Jason?”

Jill glanced at him, her eyes glinting. “What do you think?”

Lucas nodded. “She will. Lilly’s always been crazy about Jason. She was three years ago, and she still is now.”

Jill’s smile grew. “Exactly. We both know how much she loves him. That’s why she’ll do it.”

Lucas looked at Jill, a new respect in his eyes. “I have to admit, you’re pretty ruthless.”

Jill tossed her hair back with a laugh. “If I wasn’t, how could I have stayed by Jason’s side for three years? Lilly’s no match for me. Lucas, just get ready to win your girl.”

Lucas’s mood instantly lifted. He raised his brows. “Looking forward to working with you, Jill.”

Jill grinned. “Same here.”

Lilly slipped back into her room. Jason had just come out of the shower, wearing a white bathrobe, still drying his hair. He was reading the note she’d left for him.

“Lilly, you’re back.”

She nodded. “Yeah, I’m back.”

“What do you feel like eating? I can order something.”
