The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 926

Lilly froze when he called her his “little wildcat,” but when “wildcat” became “naughty little thing,” she sucked in a sharp breath and stared at Jason in disbelief.

Did he even hear what he was saying?

She was not a naughty little thing!

Absolutely not!

Victoria piped up, “Well, if you’re done teasing her, could you please make some breakfast? Lilly and I are starving.”

Jason set down his glass of water. “Alright. I’ll go cook.”

As Jason walked into the kitchen, Lilly looked at Victoria, embarrassed. “Victoria, I’m just going to pop back to my room for a minute.”

Victoria nodded. “Okay.”

Lilly returned to her room and went straight to the bathroom. She turned on the shower, letting the warm water cascade over her. It eased the soreness and fatigue, but her skin was still marked with hickeys from the night before. Jason’s handiwork.

It was like he had done it on purpose, deliberately marking her skin, claiming her as his.

Her skin was so delicate that the marks wouldn’t fade quickly.

Lilly figured she would just have to cover them with her clothes. Otherwise, Victoria would see them and get suspicious.

She closed her eyes, but Jason’s handsome face immediately filled her mind. Last night, he had been above her, sweat dripping down the sharp contours of his face. His hands were braced on either side of her as he moved, his back muscles flexing with power. He was the epitome of male perfection.

Lilly quickly shook the image from her head. What was she doing? She had to stop thinking about him.

She felt a slight trickle and remembered he hadn't used any protection last night. The baby in her belly was a result of him refusing to use anything, and last night had been the same.

Had he even considered what would happen if she got pregnant again?

After showering, Lilly changed into fresh clothes and left the room. Victoria had just returned from a walk outside, and Jason had breakfast ready. “Time to eat,” he called out.

“Coming.”
