Felicia nodded in agreement. "The same goes for you, Savannah."
Savannah smiled weakly. "Do you want to get a drink?"
"Sure, I will go grab something," Felicia replied. She did not bring out standard red wine, opting instead for a highly potent, traditional liquor unique to Cloudville. She had originally planned to bring it back to the Capital for the holiday, but decided to crack it open tonight to share with Savannah.
By the end of the night, the two women were completely wasted.
Savannah fluctuated wildly between crying her eyes out and becoming intensely agitated. She confessed that she had never truly moved on from Darin. She knew perfectly well that Darin had long since lost any romantic feelings for her, yet she remained bitterly unresigned.
Felicia draped her arm over Savannah's shoulder, clinking their glasses together. "If you refuse to accept it, then go snatch him back! At the very least, chase him down until you have him, and then brutally dump him. Make him taste the agony of being tossed aside!"
"Exactly!" Savannah cheered in loud agreement.
The nanny hovered nervously in the living room, completely at a loss on how to handle the chaotic scene unfolding before her.
Seeing how late it was getting, the nanny's phone suddenly rang. It was Max. The moment the call connected, Max instantly realized something was terribly wrong. Through the receiver, he could faintly hear Felicia shouting at the top of her lungs. "Max, you absolute scumbag!"
"Did you not think I was too ugly and fat?! Why are you trying to getting me back now?! You are nothing but a shameless, despicable bastard!"
Max's brows furrowed deeply, his voice plunging to a dangerously low octave. "What is going on over there?"
"She and her friend have been drinking," the nanny quickly explained. "They have had quite a lot, and I believe they are both completely drunk now."
Listening to the chaotic noise bleeding through the phone, Max's expression grew increasingly dark.
After ending the call, the nanny stepped forward, attempting to intervene. "It is getting very late. You should both get some rest."
