"Nonsense! This is Darren. He has helped the Temple of Light and the benefactor of the Twelve Paladins!" Pegasus Paladin yelled.
Darryl had previously produced a poisonous antidote to help the 12 paladins restore their strength, so Darryl was indeed their benefactor. At the same time, Pegasus Paladin knew that Darryl wanted to hide his identity, so he announced the fake name Darryl used in the Golden Lion Principality.
‘What?’ Grady trembled in shock. He gazed at Darryl with astonishment and was rendered speechless. ‘I thought this guy was Thea’s subordinate. I didn’t expect him to have such an extraordinary background. He’s the benefactor of the twelve paladins.’
After ten seconds, Grady finally reacted and said bitterly, "Your Excellency Pegasus Paladin, I— "
However, before he could finish talking, Pegasus Paladin interrupted him. "What do you have to say? Darren and this young lady came to the Damien family to visit their friend, but you claim they have disrupted public order? Are you crazy?"
Grady stepped aside and dared not say anything more.
Then, Darryl looked at Donnie with a forced smile. "Can we see Miss Lolita now?"
"Yes, sure!" Donnie wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and nodded repeatedly.
He was so scared that he found it difficult to stand still. Even Pegasus Paladin was respectful to Darryl, so how could Donnie disagree with Darryl? However, Donnie did not forget to blink at the servant next to him.
Lolita was under house arrest and there were guards outside the door where she was locked up. Thea and Darren must not see that. After the servant caught Donnie’s hint, he ran off.
Once the servant had left, Donnie smiled and led Thea and Darryl to the backyard. Eventually, they arrived at Lolita’s room. Darryl took a deep breath by the door and his calm mood became conflicted.
