"Darren!" Madame Pandora screamed.
Darryl remained calm. He quickly pulled Madame Pandora into an embrace while creating a barrier around them with his internal energy. The millions of arrows bounced off the barrier with loud crashing noises, but the barrier remained undamaged.
Madame Pandora breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look admiringly at Darryl. 'I feel so safe with him,' she thought.
After a few seconds, the arrows finally stopped coming.
"Phew! Good thing I was quick enough. Otherwise, we would have been turned into porcupines," Darryl said with a smile as he released Madame Pandora from his embrace.
Madame Pandora nodded. She was still in shock. "Thank you for saving my life again! I'm so sorry I stepped in the wrong place. I was too nervous."
Darryl smiled and offered her a few more comforting words before the two of them went deeper into the tunnel.
Meanwhile, Alison was still fuming about Darryl. She became even angrier at the thought of Madame Pandora begging for his life.
"Something has happened! Sect Master, something terrible has happened!" a panicking guard cried.
That made Alison even more furious. "Why are you panicking? What happened?" she shouted angrily.
The guard gulped and stuttered, "The two people have disappeared from the cell, and there is a big weird hole on the wall."
