Skylar threw his head back in laughter at her praise. He was incredibly proud of himself as well.

Meanwhile, at the Carter family's manor, Dax and Debra stumbled back with the help of the other disciples. Chester, Yvette, and the others came back one after another with no news of Darryl's whereabouts.

Dax crumpled to his knees as soon as he entered the living room. He was frail and had to summon all his willpower to remain conscious.

"Dax! What happened?" Shocked, Chester, Yvette, and the others immediately walked toward him.

Yvette's exquisite face looked worried as she looked at Dax. Then to Debra, she asked, "What happened? Who did this to Dax?"

She was filled with anger and shock as she asked the question. There was no way Dax could be that heavily injured when he was already at the Heaven Ascension level. He also had the Sky Breaking Axe, making him almost unrivaled in the entire Nine Mainland.

All eyes fell on Debra in an instant. She sighed and told them everything that had transpired in Sky Park.

'What?' Everyone was dumbfounded by how the story went. 'Dax and Skylar got into a fight? I never expected Skylar to be that strong!'

"This is all my fault. Dax wouldn't end up like if I'd stopped him in time," Debra said remorsefully.

"Don't blame yourself, Debra. We all know Dax is very hot-tempered. There's no stopping him when he gets into one of his rages. I don't think I would be able to stop him too if I was there, so don't beat yourself up too much," Chester said in a bid to console her.

Yvette and the others nodded in agreement and tried to console her too.

They then heard a thump and saw Dax fainted and had fallen to the ground.

"Dax!"

"Brother!"

Everyone panicked and quickly carried him to the room at the back of the courtyard. There, Chester started checking on his condition while Yvette and the others looked on with worry written all over their faces.

Chester's brows furrowed after he finished checking up on Dax. He was shocked to discover that an extremely domineering power was pressing down on Dax's meridians and elixir field. The power was what made Dax weak. Chester did not doubt that Dax would invariably die if they did not get the cure.
