Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4731

Darryl's response came like a bucket of ice water, instantly washing away Cloud Spirit's initial joy.

"The White Tiger King only allowed me to go. Alone."

Darryl sighed, feigning an expression of great pity.

"You're aware that the Black Swamp is forbidden territory, right? No one's allowed to enter the place at all. The White Tiger King only allowed me to do so, seeing as I once rescued his son. He had his rules, too.

"He insisted that I would have to go alone and that there would be multiple demon warriors escorting me. There will also be a few women coming along for the ease of harvesting the Ghost Spirit Herb.

"Either way, you can't come."

Darryl was solemn as he spoke, but his gaze glinted slyly.

He was actually going into the Black Swamp to check out the mysterious black hole, which was something Cloud Spirit could not know.

At the words, Cloud Spirit was greatly disappointed. At the same time, she grumbled unfairly, "This demon tribe seems to have a great deal of these rules. Fine, we'll head back once you've got the Ghost Spirit Herb."

To be honest, Cloud Spirit did not wish to be ordered around like that. However, she had no choice.

She was at the mercy of others.

At her agreement, Darryl flashed a smile.

A few minutes later, the White Tiger King arranged for over ten demon warriors to head off in the direction of the Black Swamp with Darryl.

……

On another end, in the Nine Continents.

In the past two years, the attack of the Fiend race had turned the ocean into lawless grounds. The seas were rampant with ruthless pirates, and aside from the Sea Dragon Hall, Waller Island was one of the most potent forces on water.

Waller Island was located around two hundred miles northwest of the Ice Fire Island, but it was over ten times bigger than the Ice Fire Island. In addition, it was covered with gorgeous flowers, making for a breathtaking view that one could call heaven.

However, the place housed tens of thousands of pirates—ruthless and cold-blooded. The mere mention of them was enough to send chills running down one's spine.

In the last six months, Waller Island had battled against the Sea Dragon a good number of times, but no clear winner was determined.

The head pirate of Waller Island was named Sunstream the Third. He was not very tall. He was tan and skinny, but his skill level was of the Heaven Ascension stage.

Sunstream laid in a hammock by the ocean. Next to it was a simple table, and on either side were two beautiful ladies feeding Sunstream fruit by hand.
