Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1074

As she requested, Adam stopped the car.

He turned to her unhurriedly, fixing his black eyes on her.

It was as if he was looking at a willful child.

Anthea's heart was pricked by his gaze, and she couldn't stay any longer. Being difficult and sulky, as soon as the car stopped, she unfastened the seat belt and angrily pushed the door open to get off the car.

She also deliberately smashed the door.

Anthea's footsteps were heavy. She turned around and walked along the road angrily.

The neon lights pulled her shadow to the ground, and her ponytail high up on her head was swaying, showing her dissatisfaction.

After walking for more than a dozen steps, she did not hear the footsteps she had expected, which made her feel even more aggrieved. But, because of self-esteem, she couldn't stop. She could only continue moving forward, gritting her teeth.

The jeep was still parked at the side of the road.

After she opened the door and left, Adam did not drive the car away. Instead, he took the cigarette out of the storage compartment.

He knew that she was sulky and being difficult. Although it was not very late at this time, he had to watch her get in the taxi.

He lit the light, and blue flames sprang out.

Adam lit up a cigarette and blew out a mouthful of smoke. He frowned slightly. Even if she ended putting on a show of bad temper and stopped a taxi, he had to drive behind the taxi and see her home. Only then could he rest assured.

He took another deep puff, and the smoke lingered in the air.

Adam squinted at the rearview mirror and could see her swaying ponytail. Not far from her, there seemed to be a crowd of people gathering around the intersection. Vaguely, he could hear the sound of the ambulance.

It seemed that there was a car accident.

It wasn't far from him. It seemed that a deliveryman who ran a red light was hit. He should be seriously injured. There was a huge amount of blood gushing out, having spread all over the ground like a blooming flower.

Adam's pupils contracted as he suddenly thought of something.

He quickly put out the cigarette in his hand, then pushed open the door and jumped out of the car.

When Adam saw the pretty figure of hers near the intersection, she had stopped there, and then she became limp and shaky.

"Anthea!"

His heart suddenly tightened.

Worries suddenly appeared on Adam's expressionless face like a crack appearing on a mirror. He ran toward her.

At the moment when Anthea was about to fall to the ground, he stretched out his arms to catch her in time.

Anthea fell into his arms. Her eyes were closed tightly, body slightly shivering, face pale, lips trembling, and hair wet with cold sweat on her forehead. It seemed that she was in a bad condition.

Adam tightened the grip on his hands, "Don't be afraid. I'm here!"

Anthea's eyelashes trembled violently. It seemed that she had felt his breath, and she said in a tearful tone, "Uncle Adam..."

It was in the hospital.

Anthea woke up. Even if there was only a bedside lamp on, she could clearly see the white light and knew that she was in the ward.

It seemed to be her third hospitalization.

Every time, it was Adam who sent her to the hospital.

Anthea subconsciously looked around the room and her sight stopped in front of the window.

Adam's tall and strong figure stood there with his hands behind his back. The moonlight outside and the lamplight inside both shone on him. Even if he didn't wear uniform today, he still looked enchantingly vigorous.

Such a masculine and iron-willed man was easy to make people hold their breath in deep admiration.

It was already very dark outside, and the moon was hanging high. It should be early in the morning. Anthea felt that she was surrounded by quietness.
