Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1092

"Won't you eat your lunch?" Declan was stunned and said with concern, "Go back and relax if you don't feel well. But you should eat something. How about this: I'll go and get the meal for you later!"

"Then thank you for the trouble, Declan!" Anthea said.

"Don't mention it!" Declan was very happy and was glad to do something for her. "Anthea, you go back to the tent and wait for me there. I'll take it to you!"

"Okay, thank you!" Anthea nodded gratefully.

No longer walking ahead with Declan, she left in a hurry with her head and shoulders down.

When she returned to the tent, she lay on the bed with her legs crossed, staring blankly at the tent roof overhead.

In fact, there was nothing wrong with her. She just wanted to avoid Adam, just like what she did when seeing him in the morning.

"Alas!"

Anthea sighed with melancholy.

More than ten minutes later, footsteps came from outside the tent.

When she heard the curtain being lifted, Anthea sat up immediately.

A pair of military boots appeared in her sight, but she did not pay much attention to them. She smiled and said, "Declan, thank you so much for the trouble. I..."

The words died on her lips.

Anthea looked up and met a pair of deep eyes.

It was not Declan who came in, but Adam. He stood in front of her, putting the milk, bread, and two ham sausages on the table beside her bed.

"Uncle Adam..."

Anthea had to greet him.

Adam, one hand in his pocket, looked down at her and had no intention of leaving immediately.

Anthea paused for a moment and reached out to hold the food in her arms. Surrounded by his masculine scent, she said in a muffled voice, "I forgot to prepare two drugs. I'll go back to the medical shelter and eat while working!"

After that, she stood up and wanted to walk out of the tent.

But just when she walked a few steps, a tall and robust figure blocked her way.

"Uncle Adam?" Anthea asked tentatively.

However, Adam remained motionless and stood there like a mighty door-god - he would not let her walk past him.

His black eyes narrowed, and his deep voice suddenly sounded a little cold. 'Anthea, are you avoiding me?"

"No..." Anthea dropped her eyes.

"No?" Adam asked back.

She avoided him twice.

When he changed the fresh dressing for his wound in the morning, he waited there for a long time, but she did not show up.

Her classmate Leonardo half-jokingly told him that Anthea would appear as soon as he left. And when he was at the material distribution point, he saw her coming over with Declan while talking and laughing.

But when she saw him, the smile on her face immediately disappeared, and then she turned around and left, leaving Declan there to help her get the lunch.

Adam's pitch-black pupils contracted, and his jawline tightened. There was a noticeable chill in the air around Adam.

Anthea felt the chill, which raised the hair on her arms.

She felt a little scared.

The invisible pressure he brought was beginning to get to her. After a moment's silence, Anthea said honestly, "I just think it's better to keep a distance from you!"

"Why?" Adam's eyes darkened.
