Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1152

Anthea wasn't bored at home, but when the sun began to go down, she couldn't sit still anymore.

She couldn't wait to see him.

Anthea had wanted to behave like a sweet wife before, but after seeing his cooking skills, she gave up that idea. It seemed that he was about to come back, so she put on her shoes and ran downstairs.

She was like a little kitten that was sitting on the steps outside and waiting for her master's return.

After the military training, Adam had a meeting, which delayed him a while.

Anthea didn't feel impatient at all. When she saw the military green SUV driving in, her eyes lit up.

Adam also saw her. That was why he didn't drive into the underground garage but parked directly outside the building.

As soon as he stepped on the stairs, Anthea threw herself into his arms like a cannonball.

She was not afraid at all. She knew that he would catch her.

Adam held her slender waist and felt her gentle breath on his chest. It gave him butterflies in the

stomach.

He smiled. "Why are you sitting here?"

Anthea grinned and said, "I'll welcoming you home!"

She threw her arms around his neck and pressed against his chest. She didn't mind waiting for a long time. Rather, she was happy beyond description.

Adam felt her happiness and smiled broadly. "I'm sweaty all over."

"I don't mind." Anthea shook her head.

Adam held her hand with their fingers crossed. Then, he led her into the building.

The elevator came up from the underground floor. It opened with a ding, and there was a middle-aged woman carrying a basket of vegetables in her hand.

The living quarters were in the military compound, and the people living here all had some military ties. Although they might not be very familiar with each other, they would greet each other when they met.

This woman just happened to live a floor below Adam. Her car wouldn't start one day, and he gave her a hand. They were acquainted since then and would exchange a few words whenever they met.

"Adam, did you just come back?"

"Yes." Adam nodded.

The middle-aged woman looked at the girl he was holding hands with and asked with a smile, "Is this your wife? She's so pretty! The two of you look like a perfect couple in TV shows!"

"Thank you." Adam smiled but didn't correct her.

Anthea stole a glance at him.

The woman seemed to be a very hospitable person. She couldn't stop talking once she started. She looked at her and said in a praising tone, "Young lady, you must be terrific. Only an outstanding woman can marry a soldier. You must be a virtuous wife. Adam is so lucky!"

Anthea felt the heat on her cheeks.

Although she regarded herself as a loving wife, she was still shy when she heard others talk about her that way. She lowered her gaze and hid beside Adam like a flower that was yet to bloom.

The elevator arrived on the 16th floor at that moment. The middle-aged woman picked up the basket and said, "This is me. Drop by my place when you have time. Bye!"

"Goodbye, Aunt," Adam said.

The elevator door closed again.

Adam glanced sideways and saw her lowered head. The flush had spread to her ears, and even her two small earlobes had turned red, which was adorable.
